Services for Fredrick B. Davis will be held today at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Toby Lofton officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Davis, 74, of Collinsville, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He was a friend to all who knew him and he never met a stranger. He loved his children and grandchildren. Mr. Davis loved to play dominoes and all sports including West Lauderdale boys baseball and girls softball. He also loved to garden and fish.
Survivors include his wife, Fay McDonald Davis of Collinsville; a son, Danny Fredrick Davis of McCalla, Ala.; two daughters, Vicki Harp and her husband, Rickie, of Cottondale, Ala., and Sandi Wolf and her husband, Mark, of Panama City, Fla.; a stepson, Mel Hodges and his wife, Frankie, of Collinsville; a stepdaughter, Cathy Miles of Banner Elk, N.C.; two brothers, Jimmy Davis of Greensboro, Ala., and Dock Davis of Collinsville; a sister, Helen Ethridge of Collinsville; five grandchildren, Jami Hosmer of Cottondale, Ala., Jana Genery and her husband, Kevin, of Brookwood, Ala., Kaysea Lindsey of Panama City, Brandi and Danielle Davis, both of McCalla; 13 step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 43 years, Winna Thaggard Davis.
Pallbearers will be Bernie Herrington, Hal Herrington, Jim Ethridge, Jerry Davis, William Ethridge, Dane Ethridge, Marty Thaggard and Jimmy Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be William and Lonese Ethridge, M.O. and Nell Martin, Jo and Howard Blackwell, Lakeview community residents, Robinhood Lakes residents and Martin Community Friends.
REV. LLOYD T. THORNTON

HATTIESBURG Local services for the Rev. Lloyd T. Thornton will be held today at 7 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Final services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at High Hill Baptist Church Chapel in Raleigh with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Bob Robinson and Gerald Carlin will officiate.
Reverend Thornton, 75, of Hattiesburg, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Forrest General Hospital. Born in Smith County, Reverend Thornton had lived in Hattiesburg for the past 30 years, where he was a retired Baptist minister. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was a member of Maybank Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Euna V. Thornton of Hattiesburg; two daughters, Elain Neal Hedericks of Grenada and Faye Parker of Grayson, Ga.; three brothers, O.C. Thornton of Hattiesburg, Robert L. Thornton of Colmesneil, Texas, and Farrell D. Tornton of Brandon; a sister, Carolyn Driver of Brandon; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 p.m. until service time at Moore Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at High Hill Baptist Church.

Plant manager for Masonite
QUITMAN Services for Horace Allen Green Jr. will be held today at 3 p.m. at Pachuta Methodist Church with the Rev. George Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Pachuta Cemetery in Pachuta.
Mr. Green, 75, of Pachuta, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, in Pachuta. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy on Tanker O SS Kanraber AO39 as a radioman. He was an Eagle Scout and Scout master for many years. He was a plant manager for a Masonite factory.
Survivors include his wife, Olean Green of Pachuta; a son, Horace Edward Green and his wife, Cindy, of Heidelberg; a son, Sam Allen Green and his wife, Dee, of Webster, N.Y.; two grandsons, Brad Green of Lake Eddins and Lance Green of Heidelberg; and two brothers, Albert Green and David Green, both of Shubuta.
He was preceded in death by an older brother, Edward Green of Oil City, La.; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace A. Green Sr. of Shubuta.
BOBBY HARRIS

Services for Bobby Harris will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Burks officiating. Burial will be Alms Cemetery.
Mr. Harris, 62, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Faye Smith of Lauderdale; a sister, Mary C. Johnson of Meridian; and a brother, Charlie Harris, also of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Linda Christensen will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with the Revs. Doby Henry and John Farve officiating. Burial will be in New Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Christensen, 47, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include her companion, Victor Rodriquez of Philadelphia; three daughters, Magda Bell and Susan Steve, both of Philadelphia, and Rachel Tubby of Clewiston, Fla.; a son, Eric Tubby of Philadelphia; a stepdaughter, Vonda Tubby of Philadelphia; four stepsons, Marcus Tubby, Marcell Tubby, Gregory Tubby and Frank Tubby Sr., all of Philadelphia; four sisters, Iva Steve, Gina Nene, Anita Cotton and Verna Bell, all of Philadelphia; a brother, Robert Bell of Carthage and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Luceline Bell.
Visitation will be today after 2 p.m. at the family home.
