SARAH LOUISE SCOTT DAVIS, JAMES EDWARD TOWNSEND
Shirley A. Scott Knighten and James Scott, both of Meridian,
announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Louise Scott
Davis, to James Edward Townsend, son of Nellie and George Mosley
and Robert Townsend.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Little
Hope Baptist Church.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Robinson and the late
Clarence Robinson Sr., and the late Genell Scott.
Ms. Davis is a graduate of Meridian Community College and received
a degree in cosmetology, with special honors, from East Mississippi
Community College.
She is currently employed with Lauderdale County Schools.
Mr. Townsend is the grandson of the late Ophelia and R.B.
Townsend and the late Lucinda Brown.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast High School.
He is currently employed at Bonita Lakes Mall and in the
maintenance department at Dillard's Department Store.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the
ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
BRANDI SUZANNE FRENCH, DAVID ROBERT DAUSMAN
Dr. and Mrs. Terry French of Meridian announce the engagement of
their daughter, Brandi Suzanne, to David Robert Dausman, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dausman of Jackson.
The wedding will be held Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, at 4 p.m. in
Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Miss French is the granddaughter of Ruby Wolfe of Bastrop, La., and
the late Crawford Wolfe; the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer French, Lucille
and Dorothy French and the late Evelyn and Marjorie French, all of
Monroe.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a
bachelor's degree in business management from Mississippi State
University.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Chi Omega sorority.
She is currently writing her thesis for an additional interior design
degree at Brenau University in Atlanta.
Miss French is self-employed as an interior designer.
Mr. Dausman is the grandson of Sylvia Marie Dausman of Fort
Meyers, Fla., and the late Orson Dausman, and the late Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Stark of Rockford, Ill.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Jackson Prep and received a
bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in math and chemistry from
Belhaven College.
Mr. Dausman is executive vice president of Excess Risk
Reinsurance.
A reception will be held at the Ritz Carlton in Montego Bay following
the ceremony.
