Elizabeth Dianne Henson of Meridian and Huey Parker Lang II of Ocean Springs were married Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Church of the Way, with the Rev. Jack Giles officiating.
Parents of the couple are David and Barbara Henson of Meridian and Huey and Rose Lang of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Darlene Whittington, pianist; and Brigette Metcalf, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white beaded corset bodice gown with spaghetti straps cascading into a satin fish tail train. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies tied with a white satin ribbon.
Kay Coggin of Meridian was matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Brigette Metcalf of Tucson, Ariz. Junior bridesmaids were Katie Pearson of Meridian and Caitlin Lesley of Tupelo.
The bridesmaids wore plum chiffon sheath dresses and the junior bridesmaids wore white tea-length gowns.
Mallory Lesley of Tupelo was flower girl.
Huey Parker Lang of Meridian was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Michael Gavin, Benjamen Pearson, Christian Coggin, Justin Harris and Zachary Harris, all of Meridian.
Cameron Coggin of Meridian was ring bearer.
A reception was held at Merrehope following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Brooke and Lauren Gavin, Jacquelyn Clay, Barbara Griffen, Billie Stephenson and Michelle Pearson. Sandra Arrington, pianist, provided music.
After a honeymoon on Ono Island, the couple resides in Ocean Springs.
DANNY RAY REYNOLDS, CAMI AURELIA ALEXANDER
Cami Aurelia Alexander of Rose Hill and Danny Ray Reynolds of Decatur were married Saturday Sept. 23, 2000, at Garlandville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jim McQuarry of Okolona officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Aurelia Alexander of Rose Hill and Henry and Darlene Reynolds of Decatur.
The bride is the granddaughter of Aurelia McCormick of Rose Hill and the late John W. McCormick, and Lonnie and Mary Alexander of Chunky.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Mattie Bell Reynolds of Rose Hill and the late Waldon Reynolds and the late Robert and Sally Kelly of Decatur.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Marlene Coker, pianist and soloist; and Tanya Aycox, soloist.
Escorted by her parents, the bride wore a sleeveless ivory gown with a sheer back covered with rose appliques. Opera gloves accompanied by a gold bracelet that had belonged to her great-grandmother completed the bride's attire.
She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, burgundy lilies and ivy accented with iridescent pearls and tulle. Pinned inside the bouquet was a handkerchief of the bride's grandmothers.
Kathy Edwards of Rose Hill attended her sister as matron of honor. Other attendants were Mandi Hollingsworth and Donna Reynolds, sister of the bridegroom, both of Decatur.
David Reynolds of Decatur served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Alexander, brother of the bride, of Rose Hill and Jason Pierce of Decatur.
Program attendants were Kyle Alexander and Jordan Wigington, nephews of the bride.
A reception was held in the fellowship hall following the ceremony. Assisting were Nicky Hester, Carrie Meador and Amy Dellaria.
The couple resides in Rose Hill.
PAUL RUTLEDGE, TINA CHATHAM
Tina Chatham of Heidelberg and Paul Rutledge of Barnett were married on Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Landrum Country Chapel in Laurel. The Rev. John West of Newton conducted the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Barbara Chatham of Rose Hill and the late Eric Chatham, Herbert and Brenda Allgood of Heidelberg, and Bryant and Donna Rutledge of Barnett.
Given in marriage by her uncle, Herbert Allgood, the bride wore a white gown of peau satin with a fitted off-the-shoulder bodice. The shoulders and waistline of the bodice were accented with Alencon lace appliques adorned with pearls and sequins. The full-tulle skirt was scattered with matching appliques and bordered with a wide satin band.
Her veil of tulle was trimmed in satin and attached to a headband covered in pearls and she carried a cascading bouquet.
Teresa Rutledge attended her sister as matron of honor and Elizabeth Kepley served as bridesmaid.
The father of the bridegroom served his son as best man and Robby Rutledge, brother of the bridegroom, was groomsman. Ushers were Roger Chatham, brother of the bride, and Heath McDaniel, cousin of the bride.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's family hosted a rehearsal dinner for the wedding party and family at Cane Creek in Hattiesburg.
After a honeymoon in San Destin, Fla., the couple resides in Heidelberg, where the bridegroom is employed with Howard Industries and the bride is a certified dental assistant employed with Dr. Paul Pickering, D.D.S., both in Laurel.
