65th anniversary
MR. AND MRS. ROBERT WILLIAMS
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Williams will celebrate their 65th anniversary with a reception on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Midway Christian Church. Hosting the event will be their children: Mavis and Matthus Stokes of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Janelle and Billy Ray Alexander of Duffee, Margaret and Paul Alawane of Collinsville and Bobbie and Frank Gibson of Meridian; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts.
50th anniversary

W.C. and Betty Hodges were recently honored with a luncheon in celebration of their 50th wedding
anniversary. The event was hosted by their children. The Hodges' were married Jan. 1, 1950, at Harmanual Methodist Church of Philadelphia.
60th anniversary
THE REV. AND MRS. ALFRED HORACE LINTON
The children of the Rev. and Mrs. Alfred Horace Linton will host a 60th anniversary reception on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the couple's home, 6291 Zero Road. They have four children, Shirley Byrne and her husband, Jack, Betty Bradley and her husband, Eddie, Catherine Bowden and her late husband, Alfred David Linton, all of Meridian; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. The couple has spent 50 years in the ministry and the building business. Family and friends are invited to attend.

MR. AND MRS. OPAL J. SULLIVAN
Mr. and Mrs. Opal J. Sullivan recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with family and friends at the Honeysuckle Hall at Lake Tiak-O-Khata in Louisville. They were married Nov. 19, 1950.
