QUITMAN Services for James O. Beckham will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Glenn Lafferty and Larry Browning officiating. Burial will be in Archusa Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Beckham, 67, of Quitman, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at Riley Hospital in Meridian. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Beckham of Quitman; a son, Richard Beckham, of Meridian; seven daughters, Marilyn Cox, Carolyn Haney and Sarah Beckham, all of Quitman, Patricia Lockley, Shirley Taylor and Martha Styron, all of Stonewall and Donna Tanner of Enterprise; three brothers, L.C. Beckham, of Caddo Mills, Texas, George Beckham, of Orange, Texas, and Frank Beckham, of Humbolt, Texas; a sister, Louise Smith of Grayson, La., and a sister-in-law, Jerri Beckham, of Georgetown, La.; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Eddie Bee Beckham and a brother, Carl Beckham.
Visitation will be today after 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Evelyn Jefferson will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church with Father David Hamm officiating. Burial will be in Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Jefferson, 66, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
Survivors include four daughters, Odean Nickey, Sarah Willis, Anna Farmer and Angie Dixon, all of Philadelphia; seven sons, Chester Dixon, Harry Dixon, Steve Dixon, Paul Jefferson and Jared Jim, all of Philadelphia, Kenneth Jefferson of Florida, and Harold Jefferson of Oklahoma; six sisters, Lallie Hickman, Alene Dixon, Iva Steve, Gene Nene, Anita Cotton and Verna Bell, all of Philadelphia; two brothers, Reggie Willis of Philadelphia and Robert Bell of Carthage; a stepdaughter, Martha Jim of Philadelphia, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services for Robert Lee Jones will be held Sunday at noon at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Jones, 62, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Diann Jones of Flint, Mich.; a brother, Jimmy Edward Jones of Meridian; five sisters, Ruby Lee McCloud of San Antonio, Texas, Myrtle Gail Jones, of Mount Morris, Mich., Barbara Ann Jones, Katie Sue Jones and Betty Ruth Jones, all of Flint.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Napp, 98, of Quitman, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a brother, Thomas N. Dillard of Stonewall, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
