Graveside services for Sadie Cathrine Chisolm Wyatt will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Thad Moore officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wyatt, 81, of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at The Speciality Hospital of Meridian. She was retired from Bell South after 40 years of service.
Survivors include two sisters, Lorene C. Brickert and her husband, Bob, of Monterey Park, Calif., and Hellon C. Beeman and her husband, T.M., of Meridian; a brother, John Adolph Chisolm of Meridian; two nieces, Billie Chisolm Savoie and her husband, Clyde, of Grove, Texas, and Kathrine Chisolm of Meridian; six nephews, Basil F. Chisolm and his wife, Dana, of Clinton, Adolph Chisolm Jr. of Meridian, Thomas Lowry Beeman and his wife, Sally, of Brandon, Dannie Lee Beeman and his wife, Helen, of Springfield, Mo., James Brickert and Scott Brickert, both of Monterey Park; six great-nieces, Katie Chisolm of Clinton, Elizabeth Savoie of Grove, Loren Rhoads and her husband, Robert, of Fayetteville, Ark., Sharon Wood and her husband, John, Karon Krueger and her husband, Mat, of Brandon, and Wendy Beeman of Austin, Texas; five great-nephews, Chad and Brad Chisolm of Clinton, Dan Lee Beeman of Fayetteville, Dr. David Beeman and his wife, Missy, of Lowell, Ark., and Clay Brickert of Monterey Park; five great-great-nieces, Jessica Wood, Neely Wood, Morgan Rhoads, Elizabeth Rhoads and her namesake Sadie Kate Beeman; and three great-great-nephews, Caleb Luke Rhoads, Nick Rhoads and Taylor Rhoads.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos M. Wyatt; her parents, Daniel Lowry Chisolm and Annie Lee Pilgrim Chisolm; and a brother, William Basil Chisolm.
She was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church and a beloved aunt to all her nieces and nephews. There will be a processional from the funeral home to the cemetery beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for John Sterling will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Congregation Church of God, with the Rev. Kelvin Carter officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Shubuta with Turner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sterling, 34, of Quitman, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his mother, Carrie Sterling of Quitman; two children, Johnathan Gaines of Waynesboro and Cicaro Sterling of Quitman; 11 sisters, Georgia Mae Mitchell, Diane Sterling, Earnestine Jasper, Patricia McGill, Lacal Nicholson and Mary Terrell, all of Quitman, Rosie Lockhart of Shubuta, Evon Sterling of New York, Michelle Clopton of Georgia, Linda Viverette of Meridian and Alice Clark of California; a brother, Charlie Sterling Jr. of Stonewall; and his grandmother, Annie Mae Conner of Shubuta.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
MONROE CARMICHAEL
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. Services for Monroe "Billy" Carmichael will be held Thursday at Valhalla Funeral Home.
Mr. Carmichael, 74, of Madison, formerly of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, in Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, of 52 years, Janette Carmichael; a daughter, Sharron Devaney of Madison; two sons, Mike E. Carmichael of Norfolk, Va. and Darrell Carmichael of Huntsville; a brother, Dewey Carmichael of Starkville; a sister, Chris C. Harmon of Columbus; a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were incomplete at Enterprise Funeral Home for Fred Douglas Campbell, 79, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, in Meridian.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Guelda Jones, 92, of Meridian, who died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, in her home.
