QUITMAN Services for Jack Elma Griffin will be held today at 2 p.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church, with the Rev. Richard Cothern officiating. Burial will be in Union Church Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home of Quitman in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Griffin, 73, of Enterprise, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Griffin of Enterprise; a son, Rick M. Griffin of Charlotte, S.C.; two daughters, Ann G. Boggs of Fredericksburg, Va. and Paulette Duval of Vienna, Va.; his mother, Nannie Griffin of Meridian; a brother, Jerry Griffin of Newton; two sisters, Norma Jean Hamrick of Stonewall and Dorothy Williams of Meridian; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Milford Lundy will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at McClain Hays Funeral Service Chapel, with the Revs. Ray Fulton and Gene Higginbotham officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Lundy, 71, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Lundy of Philadelphia; three daughters, Aletha Eakes of Philadelphia, Sherri Vance of Union and Patsy Carver of Clarksville, Tenn.; three sisters, Hester Smith of Philadelphia, Jeanette Griffin of Collinsville and Lynn Luke of Center Ridge, Ark.; a brother, Mitchell Lundy of Grenada; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
ADA LUCILE KERR LANGAN
MOBILE Services for Ada Lucile Kerr Langan will be held today at 3 p.m. at St. Ignatuis Catholic Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Radney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Langan, 93, of Mobile and Meridian, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Survivors include two children, John C. Langan and his wife, Barbara, of Grand Rapids and Clara Langan Grasham of Oklahoma City; a brother, Don Kerr and his wife, Anne of Williamsburg, Va.; six grandchildren, John C. Langan III and Kelli Anne Langan, both of Grand Rapids, Michael William Grasham, Katherine Marie Grasham, Daniel David Grasham and Mattew Thomas Grasham, all of Oklahoma City; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Claude Langan.
The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Visitation will be today from 1-3 p.m. at the Marian Center.
LETTIE RASH
Services for Lettie "Maw" Rash will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. L.C. Thedford officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rash, 87, of Meridian, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at the Broadmoor Health Care Center.
Survivors include two sons, Lige Rash of Meridian and Zeb Rash of Atlanta; a brother, John Robertson Tooley of Waynesboro; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Musician
BILOXI Services for Robert L. Rivers Jr. will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home. Riemann Funeral Home in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rivers, 53, of Biloxi, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, in Biloxi. He was a native of Meridian and had been a resident on the coast for 14 years. He was a musician.
Survivors include his wife, Jannelle R. Rivers of Biloxi; a son, Dennis Rivers of Meridian; his mother, Virginia Mason Rivers of Meridian, a brother, Bruce Rivers of Meridian and a sister, Judi Collins of Hattiesburg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Rivers Sr.
Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service. A separate service will be held on the coast at a later date.

Services for George W. Weir Jr. will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home, with the Rev. A. M. Mansfield officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Weir, 68, of Meridian, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Weir of Meridian; a son, George T. Weir and his wife, Shalayne of Meridian; two daughters, Debbie Robinson and her husband, Charles of Meridian, and Paula Williamson and her husband, Ross of Alton, Ill.; two step daughters, Dana Briggs of Meridian, and Alicia Hughes of Sevierville, Tenn.; a sister, Ruth Weir Stephens of Meridian; eight grandchildren, Michael A. Williamson, Gidget Olson, Jared Weir, Katie Weir, Hanna Robinson, Spencer Robinson, Fallon Hughes and Carrinton Hughes; seven half brothers and half sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine Weir, and a son, Terry Weir.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Baker, Buddy Crooksey, Travis Gray, Kevin Miller, Robert Clayton and Grady Richardson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Guy and Marvin Weir.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
