KEMPER COUNTY An investigation continued Friday into the death of Don Feasel, a Warren's Town community man whose body was found in a wooded area of Kemper County Thursday afternoon.
Feasel's body had a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said. Tisdale said he does not suspect foul play.
Officials began searching for Feasel when he failed to report for work and his daughter reported him missing.
Tisdale said the daughter reported her father to be 50 years old. Authorities found a 12-gauge shotgun near his body, and an autopsy will determine the cause of death.
The sheriff said he expected to revisit the scene with a Mississippi game warden, who discovered Feasel's body, and an investigator from the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
