MMA Members Show 2000

Your next door neighbor may be an artist!
Meridian Museum of Art is currently hosting its annual Museum Members Show, showcasing the artistic talents of its supporters. And when you enter the gallery, you just might be surprised, said Terry Heder, museum director.
Thus, the annual exhibit's appeal.
The Members Show is an annual benefit of the downtown museum's membership. Artists with works in this show include: Kent Allen, Winki Allen, Peggy Billups, Bonnie Busbee, Terry Cherry, Rhonda Denton, Edwin Downer, Shayne Easterling-Garrett, Todd Eldridge, Sylvia Follis, Mandy Goldman, Les Green, Joey Horne, Brandi Howard, Darlyne Hurst, Marsha Iverson, Mildred Keen, Patricia Kent, Juanita Landreth, Mary Leece, Alex Loeb, Jean Loeb, John Marshall, LoRita Mitcham, Helen Morrison, Charlie Munoz, Linda Munoz, Elizabeth Mitchell Pajerski, Dot Pugh, Doris Putnam, Clo Ann Rabb, Sharon Sheridan, Erma Stafford, Dolores Thomas, Lila Thomas, Paulene Tooman, Larry Van Dyke, Barbara Wells-Takano and Caulene Wilkinson.
A reception for the exhibit will be held at its ending on Jan. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception is part of the museum's annual Membership Gala, a special program where the museum expresses appreciation to its current members and remembers those who have been dedicated to building the museum over the past 30 years.
Meridian Museum of Art will be closed today, but will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday. Located at 628 25th Ave., the museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
