PHILADELPHIA Services for Bessie Jones Moody will be held today at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Oneal Parker officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Noxapater.
Mrs. Moody, 88, of Baton Rouge, La., died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
Survivors include two daughters, Yvonne Johnson and Theda Pearson, both of Baton Rouge; a sister, Lillian Clay of Hartford, Mich.; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Thadduas Jones.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Effie Lee Sims Carter will be held today at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Charles Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Carter, 94, of Gautier, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at Singing River Hospital in Moss Point.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara June Mignault of Gautier; a brother, William Franklin Sims of Moss Point; a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
Visitation will be today at beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
MARY ELYEAN MOULDS GREENE
JAY, Fla. Services for Mary Elyean Moulds Greene will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Cora Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Keese and Dale Saucier officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Jay Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Greene, 91, of Jay, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, in her home. She was born on September 26, 1909, to Walter L. and Martha Gay Whitlock Moulds. She resided in Jay for the past seven years and was a former resident of Louin, Miss. She was a member of the Century First Baptist Church and a faithful pastors wife for 63 years.
Survivors include a son, William Earle Greene and his wife, Foye, and a daughter, Mary Elyean Adkinson, all of Jay; two grandchildren, Samuel Greene and his wife, Rhoda, of Saucier, Miss., and David Greene, and his wife, Sharon, of Byneville; and four great-grandchildren, Sammy, Andrew, Hannah and Garrett Greene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Earle Greene.
Pallbearers will be Joe Gunter, Jimmy Gunter, David Willis, Loyd Barrow, Athal Slate and Henry Earl McCutchins.
Visitation will be today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
MILDRED LOUISE MCMULLAN

Services for Mildred Louise McMullan will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jack Giles and Richard Davis officiating. Burial will be in Enondale Cemetery.
Mrs. McMullan, 76, of Bailey, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, in her home. She worked for many years at East Mississippi State Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Katie Nelson and her husband, Richard, of Bailey; a sister, Ina Hatcher and her husband, Travis, of Macon; three grandchildren, Renee Funck and her husband, Victor, of Jacksonville, Fla., Leigh Ann Nelson of Meridian and Kay Rickette Hunter of Bailey; five great-grandchildren, Michael, Victoria and Chrystal Funck, all of Jacksonville, and Scot and Steven Hunter, both of Bailey; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Pat Griffin of Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Riddell McMullan, a son, Walter Jenkins and twin daughters.
Pallbearers will be John Watson, Joe Watson, David Giles, Albert Bartlett, Robert Bartlett and Charlie Maggard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Joe Richardson and Doug Richardson.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at the Barham Funeral Home for Malcolm E. Hopper Jr., 76, of Salisbury, N.C., who died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Brian Center Nursing Home.
