Services for Roberta Windham were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Henson Ridge Baptist Church. Burial was in Symra Cemetery with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Windham, 91, of Preston, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Riley Nursing Center.
Survivors include her husband, Cannon Windham of Preston; and a grandchild.

Services for Katherine McRae Benjamin will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Acona Methodist Church in Holmes County with the Rev. Fred C. Morton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Benjamin, 93, of Meridian, Died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home.
Survivors include four nieces, Frances Egger Watson and her husband, Louis Watson Sr., of Jackson, Alison E. Morris of Hickory, N.C., Jane E. Ray of Durham, N.C. and Ann E. Ellen of Charlotte, N.C.; two nephews, Joseph F. Egger III of Oxford and Joseph Ruhand Egger of Jackson; three great-nephews, Louis Watson Jr. and John Edgar Watson and Benjamin McRae Watson of Jackson; a great-niece, Bette Benjiman Avey of Hales Corner, Wis.; and a sister-in-law, Debra Theuven Egger.
WILLIAM CLAUDE GOODWYN

Services for William Claude "Bill" Goodwyn will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Goodwyn, 74, of Toomsuba, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, in his home. He was a member of Oak Grave Baptist Church and retired from Gulf States Paper Corporation after 28 years.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Helen Frances Goodwyn of Toomsuba; two daughters, Elizabeth Smith and her husband, Al, of Collinsville and Barbara Herrington of Meridian; a sister, Agnes Butler and her husband, J.E., of Bonita; four granddaughters, Kim Watson, Amy Oliver, Susan Hutchinson and Dusti Herrington; and four great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Pearl Goodwyn and a grandson, Chad Goodwyn Herrington.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Osburne, Rod Rayner, Joe Rawson, James Coullitte, Tommy Joe Butler, Billy Barrett and Mark Barrett.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
FRANK JAMES

Services for Frank James will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kevin Jones, Dr. Gordon Sansing and Richie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. James, 83, of Meridian, died, Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, in Meridian. He was a member of Arrowood Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Charles James and his wife, Jennifer, of Meridian; a daughter, Delores Cheatwood and her husband, Bob, of Salem, Ind.; three sisters, Edith McMullen of Meridian, Lilian Jepko of Mobile, Ala. and Margaret Snowden of Meridian; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy James.
The family requests memorials be made to a favorite church or charity.
Pallbearers will be Tony James, Eric James, Donald James, James Cheatwood, Mark Anderson, Patrick Crowhorn, Robert Stockton, Charlie Tibbett, James Gardiner and Walter Tucker.
Honorary pallbearers will be retired railroad employees.
Visitation will be Friday from 11-1:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
GLADYS B. HOWLE

MACON Services for Gladys B. Howle will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Poole officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Howle, 87, of Crawford, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at Golden Age Care Home.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph"Joe" Star Howle, Jr. of Columbus and John Walter Howle of Lutz, Fla.; a sister, Jessie Phillips of Calhoun City; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Cromwell and Joan Davis Boland and her husband, J. Starr Howle.

Mr. Dillard, 96, of Stonewall, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Tommy V. Dillard of Stonewall, Charles H. Dillard of Quitman and Bobby C. Dillard of Hattiesburg; eleven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
