Services for Frank D. Blanks will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Odell Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebrox Cemetery in Lauderdale.
Mr. Blanks, 61, of Meridian, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include two sisters, Mattie Friday of Portiville and Cora Clark of New Orleans; two brothers, Johnny Blanks of Meridian and Mack D. Blanks of New Orleans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Melinda Blanks.
Visitation will be Friday from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
CHARLES SPURGEON MANGUM

Memorial services for Dr. Charles Spurgeon Mangum will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Sikes officiating. Bultman Funeral Home of New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Mangum, 45, of New Orleans, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at Touro Infirmary Hospital in New Orleans. He was a dual resident of New Orleans and Ft. Collins, Colo. He was enrolled in the Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie Long Mangum; a daughter, Erin Rayner Mangum; his mother, Ruth Gipson Mangum; two sisters, Nona Spencer and Charlotte Steele; two aunts and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Mangum.
CURRIE HALL

Services for Currie Hall will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Blues Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marcus Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hall, 100, of Scooba, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Kemper County Nursing Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Edna Reed and her husband, Tommie, and a sister, Mary J. Mason, all of Scooba; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
LUCILLE HICKMAN

PHILADELPHIA Services for Lucille Hickman will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with the Revs. Dobie Henry and Shelley Peoples officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hickman, 78, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include four daughters, Earline Hickman, Judy Billie, Shirley Cross and Earlie Williams, all of Philadelphia; two sons, Levester Hickman of DeKalb and Paul Hickman of Philadelphia; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
OTIS JAMES PORTIS

Services for Otis James Portis will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in York, Ala., with the Rev. P.S. Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Portis, 18, of Lauderdale, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his mother, Emma Lake and five sisters, Barbara Lake, Janice Lake, Shanta Horne and Latoya Lake, all of Lauderdale and Lucille Portis of Chicago; two brothers, Willie Sillimon and his wife, Beverly, of Lauderdale and Tommy Lake and his wife, Ann, of Meridian; his grandparents, Eddna Mae Portis, Chester Portis and Hattie B. Sillimon, all of Lauderdale.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Portis.
Visitation will be Friday from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home and from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the church.
