YORK, Ala. Graveside services for David Drennen Johnston will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Beth Salem Cemetery in Boligee with the Rev. John Barnes officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnston, 72, of Gainesville, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, in UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Duncan Johnston of Gainesville; two sons, Forrest Lee Johnston of Tuscaloosa and William David Johnston of Emelle; a stepson, Lonnie Pope of Forkland; two daughters, Charlotte Ann Briggs of Bryant, Ark. and Mena Ruth Adams of Atlanta, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Tina Shay Pope of Douglasville, Ga.; a brother, Sage Monnish Johnston of Destin, Fla.; a sister, Sandra J. Henderson of Scotland; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to Beth Salem Cemetery Fund, C/O Willis Lashley, Eutaw, AL.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

KOSCIUSKO Graveside services for Juanita Covington Green will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Green, 88, of Kosciusko, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Atwood Personal Care Home. She was a member of the Kosciusko First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Doty of Kosciusko; a son, Roger M. Green of Glenrock, Wyo.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to Prospect Presbyterian Church.
Pallbearers will be Rufus Rawson, Michael Gunn, Ronnie Null, Loray McNamee and Fred. W. Edmiston.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Mary Lou Jenkins will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hope Indian Baptist Church with the Revs. Emmett Denson and Williamson Isaac officiating. Burial will be in Simon-Isaac Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Jenkins, 68, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Janie Dixon and Mary Sue Bell, both of Philadelphia; three sons, Junius Lewis, Don Reed Lewis and Clay Hollis Lewis, all of Philadelphia; a foster son, James Ray Jim of Philadelphia; a brother, McKinley Jim of Philadelphia; 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Lewis.
Visitation will be today beginning at 9 a.m. at the family home.
