LITTLE, CHANDLER
Elizabeth Ann Chandler of Germantown, Tenn., and Douglas David Little Jr. of Meridian were married Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at Germantown Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wess Richardson officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Don Riley Chandler of Memphis and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas David Little of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Chesley E. Bowden and the late Gladyss Butler Bowden and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Riley Chandler, all of Memphis.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Gerald Wright and the late Rupert Hiram Camp and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Douglas Little, all of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jill Peak, pianist/organist, Arthur Brooks, violinist, and David Northcutt, trumpeter.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal-length gown of diamond white silk featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline. Alencon lace and pearls accented the fitted bodice and spilled down the A-line skirt that fell into a chapel-length train.
Her cathedral-length veil was handmade and trimmed in Alencon lace to match the gown.
Maid of honor was Sara Anne Schwie of Germantown. Matron of honor was Janet Fowler Giliberti of Vicksburg.
Also attending the bride were Brandy Bullard McMillin, Andrea Lynne Tyus, Angela Oliver tickle and Nita Ann Flanagin, all of Memphis. They wore two-piece champagne-colored ensembles. The sleeveless tops with thin straps and a square neckline were worn with floor-length A-line skirts. They carried clusters of fall-colored roses hand tied with latte colored ribbon.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Don Riley Chandler and Jason Bowden Chandler, both of Germantown, Jeffery Alan Rainey and Christopher Luke Harper, both of Meridian, Michael Edward Sidebottom of Memphis, Lynn Curtis Barousse of Nashville and David Andrew Powers of Destin.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Summit Club in Memphis for family, friends and out of town guests.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Germantown Country Club.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Meridian.
