Feb. 10, 2001
Lauderdale County authorities are looking for two Meridian teenagers who reportedly have not been seen since being dropped off for school Wednesday morning.
Chief Deputy Mike Mitchell of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department said Victoria R. McCall, 16, of 1005 Bragg Ave., and Jonathan Hunt, also 16, of 3502 Valley Road, were reported missing by their families when they did not return home from school.
Both students attend Kate Griffin Junior High School.
Mitchell said Victoria is a diabetic and her family is worried she is not receiving the medical attention needed to manage her condition.
He said initially "missing persons reports" were filed on a third teen who has since been located. He said the incidents were unrelated.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Victoria or Jonathan is asked to contact the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department Crimestoppers line at 490-2746.
