Gone from us: Mary Ann Woolf

Mary Ann Woolf was a dedicated mother who loved her children and her job, her daughter said.
The 49-year-old mother of three was murdered the day before her 50th birthday, a day on which she and her daughter, Andrea Jupe Franklin, had plans to dine out.
Since her mother's death, Franklin has married and given birth to two children, events that would have made Woolf proud. The tumultuous relationship that Woolf had with Franklin during the daughter's formative teenage years began to turn more positive just prior to Woolf's death.
Reading, Woolf's favorite hobby, came second to her first love, nursing.
Wal-Mart was a also a favorite.
