ROGER SMITH
OZARK, Ala. Graveside services for Roger Smith were held Friday at Midland City Cemetery with the Rev. W.L. Sheffield officiating. Holman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith, 47, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at Dale Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Hartzog Smith of Ozark; his mother, Wilma Reed and a brother, Richard Smith, both of Meridian; three aunts, two uncles, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Billy Thompson will be held today at 3 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mosley Cemetery in Gilbertown.
Mr. Thompson, 91, of Butler, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Willow Trace Nursing Center.
Survivors include a son, Basil Thompson and a daughter, Judy Kegley, both of Gilbertown; a sister, Claudie Mae Morgan of Michigan; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
TOMMIE ADKINS

PHILADELPHIA Services for Tommie Adkins will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church with the Revs. Charles Barnett and Benny Buckley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Adkins, 89, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Nell Adkins and a daughter, Ann Tingle, both of Philadelphia; two sons, Dr. Glenn Adkins of Ona, W.Va. and Joel Adkins of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
RAYMOND A. SKELTON

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Raymond A. "Shorty" Skelton will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Sterling Baptist Church with the Revs. Bob Gosey and Ben James officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Lavaca. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Skelton, 65, of Butler, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Francine H. Skelton, two sons, Raymond Tracy Skelton and his wife, Beverly, and Freddy J. Alford and a brother, Terrell Skelton, all of Butler; a sister, Cora Ray of Meridian; a brother, Barber Skelton of Linden; two sisters, Mattie Fay and Erline Critser of Simpsonville, S.C.; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for William McCarty will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Carter officiating. Burial will be in Barker Cemetery.
Mr. McCarty, 82, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at Queen City Nursing Home.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth McCarty of Meridian; a daughter, Myrtle Houston of Detroit; a sister, Maggie Brown of Chicago; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be today from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for Vida Robinson Moffett will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stonewall United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lynn McRaney officiating. Burial will be in Stonewall Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moffett, 97, of Stonewall, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her son, Hershel L. Moffett of Dallas; a daughter, Dorothy M. Burford of Waynesville, N.C.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
RONALD BRYAN GIBBON
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton for Ronald Bryan Gibbon, 51, of the Hero Community, who died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, at Mississippi Baptist Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Theodore Hill, 58, of Stockton, Calif., who died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, in Stockton.
