Services for Geneva Blackwell will be held today at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Miles officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackwell, 70, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie Blackwell of Meridian; two sisters, Minnie Lou Hoover of Winona and Ruby Cole of Greenville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Daniel Blackwell.

BUTLER, Ala. Graveside services for Nell D. McIlwain will be held today at 1 p.m. at Springbank Cemetery in Silas with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McIlwain, 80, of Silas, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Jack McIlwain of Silas; six daughters, Cecile Carney of Mobile, Faye Ellis of Eutaw, Pam Brewer of Silas, Nell Broadhead of Orange Beach, Donna McIlwain and Debra Jimerson, both of Gilbertown; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill McIlwain and a son, Tom McIlwain.
Visitation will be today from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Martha Johnson Smith will be held today at 2 p.m. at Oak Ridge Church of God with the Rev. Ennis Hyman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Union with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith, 64, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Laird Hospital in Union.
Survivors include her husband, Doyle Smith, a daughter, Lisa Smith and a son, Barry Smith, all of Collinsville; two sisters, Cleo Walton of Laurel and Tommie Mallett of Killeen, Texas; and one granddaughter.

Services for Susie Haugewood Swain will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Truitt officiating. Burial will be in Briggs Chapel Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mrs. Swain, 80, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include three sons, James E. Green Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Hattiesburg, Joe H. Green and his wife, Sandra, of Collinsville, and Danny Paul Green and his wife, Lina, of Meridian; three daughters, Ellen Walker, Elaine Thrash and her husband, Alton, and Gayle Davis and her husband, Dave, all of Meridian; a brother, Willie Haugewood and his wife, Elouise, of Causeyville; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Dorough, 71, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, in his home. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Syble Dorough of Meridian; two sons, Gary Dorough of Memphis and Keith Dorough of Jackson; three grandchildren, Brennon, Preston and Sarah Dorough; two stepchildren, James Whitt and Judy King and her husband, Johnny; two sisters, Janell Culpepper and her husband, Louie, of Meridian and Mildred Baughman and her husband, Paul, of Friendswood, Texas.
Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Rufus B. "Dick" Grady will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Belmount Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Bohannon officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Church Cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Grady, 73, of DeKalb, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Walter Cleo Grady, and a daughter, Margarette Westerfield and her husband, Charley, all of DeKalb; a sister, Texanna Dixon and her husband, John L., of Cleveland, Ohio; three brothers, Melvin Grady Jr. and Walter Grady, both of Cleveland, and Willie Frank Grady of DeKalb; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and three siblings.
Visitation will be today from noon to 5 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church.

Services for Anita Flowers Couch will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Chisolm officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Couch, 82, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Central Baptist Church since 1947 and a member of the Dorcas Sunday School class. She loved life, family, friends and her church.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Darby and her husband, Jerry, of Houston, Texas, and Margaret Garrett and her husband, the Rev. Sephus Garrett, of Meridian; six grandchildren, Angela Darby, Greg Darby, Jeff Darby, Rose Maria Anthony, Michele Moore and Marcia Colter; four sisters, Dorothy Damico of Lake Hurst, N.J., Bertie Vining of Chickasaw, Ala., Eloise Vanderburg of Cottondale, Ala., and Betty Middleton of St. Elmo, Ala.; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Hart Couch.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
WILLIAM E. LEE
HANOVER, Pa. Services for William E. Lee will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with the Revs. Dr. David E. Cox and Robert N. Maddox officiating. Wetzel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lee, 65, of Spring Grove, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, in his home. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958-64.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Saylor Lee; a son, Bruce K. Lee of The Colony, Texas; a daughter, Marisa Lee-Sasser of Brewton, Ala.; two sisters, Isabel Bachtel of Akron, Ohio, and Gloria Bachtel of Cumberland, Ohio.
The family requests memorials be made to On Eagle's Wings c/o St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 West Chestnut Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
Visitation will be Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday one hour prior to the service.
DONNA KAY FULTON CLEGG
Memorial services for Donna Kay Fulton Clegg will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Episcopal Church of the Mediator in Meridian. Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Clegg, 58, of Santa Rosa, Calif., died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, in Santa Rosa. She was born in Yazoo City and raised in Meridian. She had resided in Sonoma County, Calif., for 34 years.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Clegg Jr., M.D.; two daughters, Lisa C. Bartlett and Laura Clegg of Santa Rosa; her mother, J.N. "Candy" Reeb of Meridian; two brothers, N. Douglas Fulton of Summerville, S.C. and Ronnie G. Fulton of Jackson; a sister, Gay R. Williams of Meridian; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Niles B. Fulton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross or the Episcopal Church of the Mediator.
