QUITMAN Graveside services for Bessie P. White were to be held today at 10 a.m. at East Pleasant Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Childress officiating. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. White, 95, of Quitman, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Thomas D. White Jr. of Quitman; two daughters, Barbara Nell Felch of Huntsville, Ala. and Dr. Shirley Jean Welch of Las Vegas; a sister, Lula Kinard of Starkville; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
CLIFTON D. ROBERSON

Services for Clifton D. Roberson will be held today at 11 a.m. at Toomsuba Baptist Church with the Revs. Edgar Wolf and Roy Garrison officiating. Burial will be in Toomsuba Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Roberson, 54, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his mother, Wilhelmina Roberson of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. C.D. Roberson.
LOUISE FAYE ESPEY

Graveside services for Louise Faye Espey will be held today at 2 p.m. at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Espey officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Espey, 80, of Meridian, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Kinney, two sons, Robert "Bobby" Espey and his wife, Janet, and Billy Espey, and a brother, Charles Jackson, all of Meridian; a sister, Laverne Barnhill of Keatchie, La.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Espey Sr.
CLYDE CLIFTON BURT

QUITMAN Services for Clyde Clifton Burt will be held today at 2 p.m. at Providence Methodist Church with the Revs. Buddy Braddock, Dale Eakes, James Irby and Sister Doney Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Burt, 72, of Quitman, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was an active member of Providence Methodist Church, the Carmichael Saddle Club and Clarke County Brotherhood.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn A. Burt of Quitman; a daughter, Theola Mosley and her husband, James R., of Shubuta; two brothers, Howard Burt of Danville, Ind. and Jesse W. "Billy" Burt of Pontotoc; and a sister, Delois B. Davis of Shubuta.
LEO MARION HESTER

Services for Leo Marion Hester will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hester, 84, of Quitman, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Union Baptist Church and served as a past Deacon. He was a retired postal carrier and businessman operating green houses. Mr. Hester was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, of 60 years, Elizabeth F. Hester of Quitman; a daughter, Marian Hester Trigg and her husband, Don, of Gautier; two sons, David Hester and his wife, Helen, of Ponca City, Okla., and Jonathan F. Hester of Meridian; four grandchildren, Donna Trigg Worsham, Troy Trigg, Maria Hester and Jonathan Hester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Lillie Hester.
Pallbearers will be Everett Webster, Jim Wilson, Billy Williams, R.E. Williams, Stacy Rogers and Andy Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will include the members of Senior Adult Men's Sunday School class at Union Baptist Church.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
BILLY THOMAS UNDERWOOD

SEBASTOPOL Services for Billy Thomas Underwood will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sebastopol Baptist Church with the Revs. David Sartin and Skipper Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Sebastopol Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Underwood, of Sebastopol, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, in Union.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Underwood of Sebastopol; two sons, David Underwood of Keller, Texas, and Kris Underwood of Sebastopol; his mother, Mable Underwood and a brother, Elbert B. Underwood, both of Sebastopol; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Jewel B. Jones Hearn will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David McCubbin and Mike Dobrosky officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Hearn, 88, of Meridian, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Magnolia Garden Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Aileen Roberts and son-in-law, Shelton Roberts, Debbie Joiner and son-in-law, Ray Joiner, three sisters, Virginia Garrett and her husband, Jim, Marie Parke and her husband, Frank, and Maxine Long and her husband, Skeeter, all of Meridian; grandchildren, Melanie Eskridge and Lance Eskridge, both of Dallas, Sharon McKinney and Todd McKinney of Killeen, Texas, Melissa Roberts of Meridian, Ray Joiner III of Washington, D.C., Lauren Nicholson and Caleb Nicholson of Meridian and Brad Joiner of Dallas; a sister-in-law, Mary Virginia Jones of Meridian; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Hearn; parents, William Henry Jones and Zula Aileen Jones; and two brothers, Clyde Jones and O.C. Jones.
Pallbearers will be Ray Joiner III, Brad Joiner, Lance Eskridge, Caleb Nicholson, Randy Parke and Bill Jones.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kent, 68, of Meridian, died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include five daughters, Laura Hill Slattery and Vivian Beaudry, both of Meridian, Donna Kent of Arizona, Gayle Crystal Deal of Georgia and Patricia Hargrove of Texas; three sons, David Hill of Meridian, Kenneth Deal of Florida and William Deal of Tupelo; and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
