Keith Sweat in concert March 3
Silver Star Hotel and Casino announces the return of R&B Superstar Keith Sweat live in concert, Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Silver Star Conference Center.
Keith has walked tall over the pop and R&B world for more than a decade, achieving the kind of success that only a handful of contemporary artists have attained. From his R&B smash album "Make It Last Forever" to his quadruple platinum, multi-award winning 1996 effort, "Keith Sweat," he has always been about taking chances. This multi-dimensional artist, who has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, has now put his Midas touch to his newest album, appropriately titled "Still in the Game."
The Harlem-born singer credits his New York background with instilling in him a tremendous drive to succeed. Born around the corner from New York's famous Apollo Theater, Keith graduated from New York's City College, working on Wall Street before launching his singing career. "I remember those days," he laughs. "And I also remember some bumps and bruises along the way in my recording career. That's why I picked the title of the album "Still in the Game." I still enjoy it. The challenge now is to keep taking it to that next level."
