NW Shoals takes matches from MCC

Meridian Community College's tennis team played its first home action of the spring season Saturday at Northeast Park, but both the Eagles and Lady Eagles fell to visiting Northwest (Ala.) Shoals Community College.
Northwest's men took a 6-3 win over Meridian, while the MCC women fell 8-1.
Meridian returns to action Wednesday, when both squads host Gulf Coast Community College, also at Northeast Park.
