NICHOLAS, WAX
Sarah Emily Wax and Jeremy Dale Nicholas were married Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, in a candlelight ceremony at First United Methodist Church in Starkville, with the Rev. Bill Beavers officiating.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white satin. The fitted bodice accented with intricate beadwork and pearls featured cap sleeves and a scooped neckline. The bodice fell onto a Basque waistline from which flowed a full cathedral-length train accented by beadwork. Her cathedral-length veil of illusion was edged with satin. A headpiece of rhinestones and pearls accented the two-layer veil. She carried a nosegay bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and larkspur.
Amelia Killcreas of Starkville served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tyler Finklea of Montgomery, Ala., Tiffany Gaines of Senatobia; Rebecca Jones of Hinesville, Ga., Marcee Perkins of Madison, Emily Wilkins of Jackson, cousin of the bride, and Leslie Williams of Corinth.

After a wedding trip to Vermont, the couple is at home in Starkville, where she is employed as the public relations and programs assistant for the Stennis Center for Public Service and he is finishing his graduate degree at Mississippi State University.
On the morning of the wedding, the bridesmaids and out-of-town female guests were treated to a luncheon at the home of Diane Ford, a relative of the bride. Other hostesses were Lillajo Ford, Margaret Ann Ford and Anne Wilkins.
