LOUISVILLE Graveside services for Marguerite West will be held today at 11 a.m. at Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon with the Rev. David Keen officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. West, 94, of Louisville, died Monday, April 9, 2001, at Winston County Nursing Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Dodie Kelley of Louisville and two grandchildren.
JAY LUCY
Retired U.S. Navy
Services for Jay Lucy will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Thad Moore and Arthur Middleton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Lucy, 88, of Meridian, died Monday, April 9, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice. He was retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service and Kennedy Space Center with 20 years of service. He and his wife, celebrated 55 years of matrimony on March 23, 2001.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Dearman Lucky and a son, Curtis D. Lucy and his wife, Gail, all of Meridian; a daughter, Linda K. Middleton and her husband, Arthur, of Olympia, Wash.; grandchildren, Joseph Lucy and his wife, Jennifer, Theresa Lucy, Joy Middleton and Faith Middleton; great-grandchildren, Laurin, John David, Katie, Joey and Christopher; a brother, Mack Lucy of Orlando, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
The family requests memorials be made to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Don Lucy, Murray Clark, Pat Harris, Sydney Gibson, Steven Lucy, Ronnie Byrd, Hapin Byrd and Bill Blanks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Lucy and Doc Davis.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
FREDERICK D. ODOM SR.
PETAL Services for Frederick D. "Freddie" Odom Sr. will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Routon officiating. Burial will be in Morriston Cemetery.
Mr. Odom, 71, of Petal, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Born in Forrest County, Mr. Odom served in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1982 after 42 years with Hercules. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Odom of Petal; two sons, Frederick "Donnie" Odom Jr. of Meridian and David Freeman of Petal; three daughters, Elaine Herrington and Kathy Holder, both of Petal, and Renee Wilson of Anchorage, Alaska; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Ella Anderson, 84, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, in her home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Robert E. Tucker, 80, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
