TODAY
Central Baptist Church will host an Easter egg hunt from 2 to 4 p.m.
The hunt is open to children and preschoolers and toddlers through sixth grade; different events are schedules for various ages, as well as other games and activities. Each child must bring four Easter eggs and a basket.
The church is located at 2511 C St.
An Easter Vigil Service will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
The service will include the blessing of fire and water, baptisms and profession of faith by new members, mass with communion, followed by a reception to honor new members.
SUNDAY
Sunrise service and communion will be held at 5:30 a.m. at Christ Community Church.
The church is located at 8522 Highway 39 North.
Easter services will be held at 7:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Easter services will be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Easter services will be held at 8 a.m. at Episcopal Church of the Mediator.
Holy Eucharist will be held in the church. Coffee and muffins on the Labyrinth will be served from 9 to 10. The children will unbury Alleluias at 9:55, and flower the cross at 10:20. A second Holy Eucharist will be held at 10:30.
Act IV of "Eight Days That Changed the World" will be presented at 8 a.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church. The four-act musical drama was written by Buddy McElroy, minister of music.

MONDAY
Revival will begin and continue through Friday at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
Guest evangelist will be the Rev. Ray Baylor, pastor of Little Hope Baptist Church, Toomsuba. Services will begin each evening at 7:30.
The church is located at 4536 Highway 145 South.
THURSDAY
JACKSON Worship 2001 will be presented at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Piney Woods Country Life School campus.
Sponsored by McDaniel International Ministries Inc., the event will include praise and worship.

LAKE A benefit for Ashley May will be held April 21 at 2 p.m. at The Sanctuary Worship Center.
Music will be provided Hosanna, The Gibbs Family and The Feltons. May has leukemia and proceeds from the event will help defray medical expenses.
