Arts' theme of Main Event

The Main Event will start at 9:30 a.m.
Different disciplines of the arts will presented throughout the day. Here is a schedule of events:
10:30 a.m.-11 a.m.: "The Art of Collecting and Building an Art Collection." Speaker: Greg Cartmell.
11:20 a.m.-11:50 a.m.: "Cultural Arts." Speakers: Larry Van Dyke, potter; and Benny Crevits, metal artist/blacksmith.
12:10 p.m.-12:40 p.m.: Meridian Community College Variations, directed by Dr. bob Hermitz.
1 p.m.-1:15 p.m.: Meridian Community College's "Pump Boys &Dinettes."
1:15 p.m.-1:30 p.m.: Meridian Little Theatre's "Always… Patsy."
1:50 p.m.-2:20 p.m.: Meridian Symphony Orchestra presents Harpist Amy Massengill.
2:40 p.m.-3:10 p.m.: African American Drums by Jamil Strong.
3:30 p.m.-4 p.m.: Canvas Arts – Painting and Drawing by four artists.
5 p.m.-7 p.m.: Music by "Kabana."
