While very appreciative, Ronnie Massey, the 2001 winner of the Hartley Peavey Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence, questioned his own worthiness of the honor.
His friends, the people who know him the best, beg to disagree.
Trustmark National Bank president Bubba Hampton, who has known Massey for many years, agreed.
When presenting the award named in his honor, Hartley Peavey said the word "entrepreneur" describes Ronnie Massey.
