DR. RICHARD G. STRIBLING
Retired optometrist
PHILADELPHIA Services for Dr. Richard G. "Dick" Stribling will be held today at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Dr. James Shull officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Dr. Stribling, 73, of Philadelphia, died Monday, May 7, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a native and longtime resident of Philadelphia. Dr. Stribling began his optometrist practice in Philadelphia in 1952. He served as past presidents of the Mississippi Optometric Association, Philadelphia Neshoba County Chamber of Commerce and the Philadelphia School Board. Dr. Stribling was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia and the Exchange Club. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Glen Stribling of Jackson and Dr. Kent Stribling of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Taylor Stribling, Tyson Stribling and Trent Stribling, and three sisters, Mary Ruth Stribling, Kathleen Stribling and Sara Stribling, all of Philadelphia.
HAZEL FULTON WESTLAKE
Services for Hazel Fulton Westlake will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nick Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Westlake, 81, of Meridian, died Monday, May 7, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda W. Griffith of Jackson; a sister, Dean Yarbrough of Meridian; three brothers, Carl H. Fulton of Lena, Raymond Fulton of Long Beach and Wilson Fulton of Greenwood; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Fulton and a sister, Mary Alice Mobley.
NANCY KEETON MAYATT STEPHENS
Services for Nancy Keeton Mayatt Stephens will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Antioch Southern Methodist Church with the Revs. Wallace Terry, James M. Snowden and Wyatt Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stephens, 94, of Union, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Riley Hospital. She was the last surviving child of Robert Callaway Keeton and Della Avara Keeton.
Survivors include two daughters, Fleeta Mills of Union and Sue Breckenridge; a daughter-in-law, Wynette Mayatt Posey; grandchildren, Richard Duane Mayatt and his wife, Darlene, Timothy Allen Mayatt, Rhonda mills, Susie Key and her husband, Steve, Gina Tanko and her husband, Joseph, Allyson Williams and her husband, James, and Steven Breckenridge and his wife, Heather; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Maurice Mayatt and Ned Stephens; and a son, Maurice Duane Mayatt.
Pallbearers will be John Williamson, Johnny Ray Williamson, Jared Parten, Stephen Breckenridge, Richard Mayatt, Timothy Mayatt, Billy Alawine and Jimmy Keeton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Elbert Strange, Gary Mayatt, Marvin Keeton, Bobby Evans, Everette Keeton and James Taylor.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

KOSCIUSKO Services for Rev. William "Bill" West Miller Sr. will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kosciusko City Cemetery.
Rev. Miller, 88, of Kosciusko and Meridian, died Monday, May 7, 2001, at Riley Hospital in Meridian. he was an avid student of the bible up until his death, eagerly watching for the for the fulfillment of end time prophecies and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. He left this testimony: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…," II Timothy 4:7-8.
Rev. Miller, son of Willie b. Miller and Rachel Little West, was born March 24, 1913, in West. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, he graduated from Mississippi College and the Baptist Bible Institute of New Orleans. He also attended the Southern Baptist theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky.
Survivors include his wife, Mina Miller; three children, Martha Lewis of Meridian, Mary Dawkins of Pensacola, Fla. and William West "Billy" Miller Jr. of Kosciusko; two sisters, Rachel Wilson of Branson, Mo. and Johnnie Gowan of Delhi, La.; three grandchildren, Carl E. Lewis III of Arlington, Texas, Timothy Alan Lewis of Hattiesburg and Laura Eulala Estes of Sarasota, Fla.; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Tate, Ann Trimble and Dorothy Jean Pee of Kosciusko; and a stepson, Jackie Jackson.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
