BRENTS, SMITH
Dallas and Barbara Brents of Toomsuba announce the engagement of their daughter, Taletha Alea, to Randall Berryman Smith, son of Ralph and Becky Smith of Hattiesburg.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 9, 2001, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lauderdale.
Miss Brents is the granddaughter of Margaret Pritchett of Toomsuba and the late Tommy Pritchett and the late Joe D. and Donna Brents of Blytheville, Ark.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School. She graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Tau Beta Pi, Golden Key National Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi.
Miss Brents is currently enrolled in the School of Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Mr. Smith is the grandson of L. Ralph and Dorris Smith of Brookhaven and the late Marjorie Berryman Smith of Vicksburg.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Oak Grove High School and will graduate in May from Mississippi State University with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering.
Mr. Smith is employed by the Mississippi Department of Health.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
BURNS, HOLLEY
David Burns and Vickie Burns, both of Meridian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Lynn, to James Bradford Holley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holley of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 9, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Burns of Demopolis, Ala.
Miss Burns is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. McLemore, Henry Burns and Betty Burns, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Alabama. She is currently attending the University of Alabama Dental School.
While attending UAB, she was a member of Chi Omega sorority, Golden Key National Honor Society and Gamma Beta Phi honor society.
Mr. Holley is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold B. Holley of Meridian and the late Elliot Vanlendingham and Ann Vanlendingham of Brandon.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received an associate of science degree from Shelton State Community College. He is currently attending the University of Alabama School of Business in Birmingham.
Mr. Holley is employed by Sears Roebuck.
A reception will be held following the ceremony.
FEE, RICHARDSON
Mr. and Mrs. Irby Joel Stanley of Hattiesburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Blair Fee, to Reginald Wade Richardson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Richardson of Stonewall. Miss Fee is also the daughter of the late Dr. Samuel Darnell Fee Jr. of Ripley, Tenn.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 9, 2001, at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hattiesburg.
Miss Fee is the granddaughter of Mary Gill Fee of Covington, Tenn., and the late Samuel Darnell Fee Sr.; Muriel Witherington of Covington and the late John Carlyle Witherington Jr.
The bride-elect, a graduate of Presbyterian Christian High School, is currently attending the University of Southern Mississippi, where she is pursuing a career in dental hygiene.
At USM, she is a member of Kappa Delta sorority.
Mr. Richardson is the grandson of Nellie Richardson of Stonewall and the late C.D. Richardson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Drew Allen Wade of Vossburg.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School and Jones County Junior College. He received a degree in health and physical education from William Carey College.
While attending WCC, he played four years of baseball and was an honors graduate.
Mr. Richardson is employed as an assistant baseball coach at Jones County Junior College.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Randall W. Jenkins of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Leigh, to Robert Lance Fulcher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby M. Fulcher of Quitman.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 16, 2001, at 6 p.m. at Benton United Methodist Church.
Miss Jenkins is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard T. Webb of Yazoo City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Jenkins of Benton.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Benton Academy and received a bachelor of social work degree from Mississippi State University.
Miss Jenkins is currently a social worker with Hudspeth Regional Center.
Mr. Fulcher is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Hillman of Madden, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Long of Louisville and the late J.U. Fulcher.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School and received a bachelor of arts in sociology from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, he was a trainer and assistant equipment manager with the Athletic Department.
Mr. Fulcher will receive his master's degree in business information systems in May from MSU.
A reception will be held at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
JONES, SPEARS
The Rev. Ronald and Vanessa Jones of Meridian announce the engagment of their duaghter, Kimmea L.M., to the Rev. Michael D. Spears, son of Jessie Lee Spears of Meridian and the late Joe Chaney.
The wedding will be held Saturday, May 26, 2001, at 4:30 p.m. at New Cannan Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Jones is the granddaughter of Rowena Sanders, Esther Pearl Jones and the late Will Jones Sr., all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a gradaute of Meridian High School and attended Meridian Community College.
She is employed by Riley Hospital.
The Rev. Spears is the grandson of Willie Mae Jones and Charlie Jones, both of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and Meridian Community College.
He is employed by Maust Woodworking.
A reception will be held at Meridian Little Theatre following the ceremony.
