Dexter McLeon football camp returns to Meridian

The second annual Dexter McLeon "Tiger Nine" football camp will be held Saturday at Meridian High School's Ray Stadium.
Along with McLeon who plays for the St. Louis Rams former Wildcats now in the NFL Jason Franklin, Kenyatta Walker and Kenny Smith are scheduled to be on hand as instructors. Franklin plays for the Green Bay Packers, Walker plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Smith plays for the New Orleans Saints.
The camp will be divided into two sessions. Session I, for kids in grades 3-6, will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon. Session II, for kids in grades 7-12, will run from 1-4 p.m.
The cost of the camp is $10 per person and includes a t-shirt. Registration forms can be picked up at Judge Little Sporting Goods or for further information you can contact Meridian Public Schools Athletics Director Billy Burnham at 484-4094.
