DEKALB Graveside services for Corine Amacker were to be held today at 10 a.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery in DeKalb with the Rev. Lannis May officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Amacker, 94, of DeKalb, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Mississippi Care Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Ray of Biloxi, Betty Boswell of New Orleans and Kate Puckett of Porterville; a brother, Bill Hopper of Biloxi; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther L. Amacker; and a daughter, Dorothy Hall.
ADA FAYE MARCUM
PHILADELPHIA Services for Ada Faye Marcum were to be held today at 10 a.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel. Burial was to be in Old Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County.
Mrs. Marcum, 73, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Mark Marcum; two sisters, Ora Lee Barnes of Houston, Texas, and Owana Hatcher of Philadelphia; and a brother, Warren Dewease of Philadelphia.

Services for Hattie B. Walker will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Morris officiating. Burial will be in Daleville Cemetery with Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Walker, 73, of Daleville, died Wednesday, May 16, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include seven daughters, Earnestine Reed, Linda Broach and her husband, Earnest, Dessie Hampton and her husband, Darryl, Shirley Brown and Felicia Brown, all of Daleville, Erma Stewart and her husband, Alfred, of Marion and Mary Wilson and her husband, Travis, of Meridian; six sons, Henry Brown and his wife, Anita, and Ernest Brown and his wife, Rebbecca, all of Daleville, Randolph Brown of Meridian, Tony Brown of Jacksonville, Esau Brown and his wife, Bridgette, of Collinsville and Vernon Lee Brown of Blackwater; two sisters, Minnie Cole and her husband, Hubert, and Ella Hardy; a brother, Ernest R. Hardy and his wife, Lois; 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
