Brawlin at the Frank' returns

Get ready for some hard hitting action, Meridian.
Thursday night, boxing returns to the Frank Cochran Center as McNeil Promotions presents another evening of Brawlin at the Frank 2001.
Thursday's fight card boasts five bouts including Meridian's own Brad The Irish Bull' McNeil taking on Daimeon Turner of Atlanta, Ga. in the main event. The bout is for the SEBF Jr. Middleweight championship.
Other fights on the card for Thursday night include Abel Hernandez, of Forest, vs. Phillip Hammac, of Mobile, Ala.; Tony Young, of Meridian, vs. Billy Gates of Mobile; J.D. Young of Meridian vs. Chuck Orso, of McIntosh, Ala. and Meridian's Tim Meyers and Tyrone Stringfellow battling each other in a welterweight bout.
The action starts at 7 p.m. and ringside tickets can be purchased for $20. General admission tickets are $10 before the show and $12 at the door. Children under 12 can get in for $5 and kids under eight get in free.
