QUITMAN Services for Roosevelt Wainwright will be held today at 11 a.m. at Little Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Horton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wainwright, 59, of Racine, Wis., died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Racine.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Paige and Lisa Wainwright, both of Racine; five sisters, Carrie Lee Davis and Carolyn Hand, both of Quitman, Ruth Healey, Ora Lee Portis and Alma Overstreet, all of Racine; two brothers, Cecil Wainwright of Racine and Tate Wainwright of Stonewall.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Mary A. Gilmore will be held today at 2 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. Guy McGarrity officiating. Burial will be in Steam Mill Presbyterian Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilmore, 69, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, in a family residence in Philadelphia.
Survivors include her daughter, Beth Purvis of Pearl; two sisters, Betty Ruth Phillipson of Morton and Ruby Power of Union; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

UNION Graveside services for Wyley Willis will be held today at 5:30 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Warren officiating. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Willis, 91, of Union, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at Laird Hospital.
Survivors include his son, Rayford Willis of Union; a sister, Maude Gentry of Texas and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Albert Clifton Dollar will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Dollar, 83, of Meridian, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for John Gandy Lovitt will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Homewood Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery in Rose Hill. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lovitt, 94, of Quitman, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Homewood Methodist Church and Pachuta Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Lovitt, his parents, five brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be today beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
RUBYE W. MILLER
JACKSON Graveside services for Rubye W. Miller will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park with the Rev. Dennis Daniels officiating. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Miller, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Baton Rouge General Hospital.
Mrs. Miller was born in DeKalb and raised in Meridian. She was a native of Jackson and a resident of Baton Rouge, La. Mrs. Miller spent her life ministering for the Lord and caring for her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson.
Survivors include a son, James R. Miller Jr. and his wife, Ada Belle, of Baton Rouge; a sister, Pauline Butchee of Durham, N.C.; two grandsons, J.R. Miller III and Stanley "Bubba" Miller and his wife, Julie C., all of Baton Rouge; a granddaughter, Dorothy M. Thompson and her husband, Scott, of Frisco, Texas; and five great-grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Nicholas Miller, Olivia Miller, Lee Miller and James R. Miller IV.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Miller Sr.; her parents, Gaines and Leila White; two sisters, Gladys West and Eunice Severance; and seven brothers, Bernice, Walter, Herndon, Hanan, Cline, Algie and Jesse White.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Miller III, Stanley "Bubba" Miller, Matthew Miller, Nicholas Miller, Gaines White and Scott Thompson.
Visitation will be Thursday beginning at noon at the funeral home.

Services for Charles Lewis will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. M.C. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Collinsville.
Mr. Lewis, 58, of Meridian, died Thursday, May 24, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include his half-sister, Irma Lee Burton.
He was preceded in death his parents and wife.

Services for Elb McIntosh will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Decatur Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Purvis Moore officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McIntosh, 81, of Decatur, died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille H. McIntosh; a daughter, Pamela M. Evans of Decatur; two sons, Elb McIntosh Jr. of Newton and Melton McIntosh of Decatur; a sister, Lizzie Boler of Flint, Mich.; seven brothers, J.D. McIntosh and Chester McIntosh, both of Mobile, Ala., Herbart McIntosh and Henry McIntosh, both of Flint, W.J. McIntosh and C.N., both of Chicago, and Jerry McIntosh of Wyncate, Pa.; six grandchildren, a great-grandchild and four step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
