GETTING READY n Mississippi's all-star girls basketball team recently held a mini-camp at Holmes Community College as it prepares for the June 9 game against Alabama at Florence, Ala. Area members of the team pictured are, from left, Judy Morgan, Quitman High School, assistant administrative coach; Tausha Evans, Neshoba Central High School; Cantea Brown, Meridian High School; and Monique Horner, Southeast Lauderdale High School.
The games will be played at Flowers Hall at the University of North Alabama. The girls' game begins at 1 p.m., and the boys' game will follow at approximately 3 p.m. Mississippi won last year's girls' game and that series is tied at 5-5. Alabama leads the boys' series 6-4.
