Mr. and Mrs. Felix Parnell of Forest and Bernie Z. Jones of Shreveport, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Marie Jones, to Seth Justin Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Harris of Collinsville.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 2, 2001 at 7 p.m. at Steele Baptist Church.
Grandparents of the bride-elect are Nellie Shaw of Forest and the late Clifton Shaw, the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Jones of Sebastopol and Ruth Johnson of Maben.
Miss Jones was an honor graduate of Sebastopol High School and is currently attending East Central Community College majoring in business administration.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Billy Harris of Collinsville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ward of Hickory. He is the great-grandson of Flora Mae Goforth of House.
Mr. Harris is employed at Hilton Spears Custom Cabinet.
A reception will be held at the church's Family Life Center following the ceremony. Friends and family are invited to attend.
Little, Dean
Jeff and Debbie Little of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Celeste, to Lance Hilliard Dean, son of Covert and Cherry Dean of Chunky.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 16, 2001, at 6 p.m. at Sharp Memorial Methodist Protestant Church in Schamberville.
Miss Little is the granddaughter of Rupert and Emma Sharp of Collinsville; Clarene Little of Meridian and the late Owen Little.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and Meridian Community College. She is also employed by MCC.
Mr. Dean is the grandson of Lodena Blalock of Chunky and the late Doyle Blalock and the late Pervy and Ruth Dean of Chunky.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School and received a degree in forestry from Mississippi State University. He is employed by Dean Forestry Services.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
Eldridge, Harris
Michele Leigh Eldridge and Stephen Bradley Harris of West Point together with their parents are announcing their engagement. The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 23, 2001, at 2 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church in DeKalb.
Parents of the couple are Edna Eldridge of DeKalb and the late John Bryan Eldridge and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Harris Jr. of West Point.
Grandparents of the bride-elect are Mr. and Mrs. Lee Boren of Porterville; Julia Eldridge of DeKalb and the late John Bell Eldridge.
Miss Eldridge is a graduate of Kemper Academy and a summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Golden Key National Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi, Mississippi Professional Educators and was a recipient of the university's Outstanding Student Teacher Award.
Miss Eldridge is an elementary school teacher employed by the Amory School District.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Dottie Bennett and the late James Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Harris, all of Amory.
Mr. Harris is a graduate of Oak Hill Academy and received a bachelor of science degree in physical education from Mississippi State University.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Friends and family are invited to attend. Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
Burkes, Parker
Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. Burkes of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Robin Ann, to Victor Shane Parker, son of Billy Ray Parker of Leesburg and Joyce Harrell of Houston, Texas.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2001, at New Hope Baptist Church in Meridian
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Winford T. and Roma June Burkes of Philadelphia; Rena Harmon of Meridian and the late Jim Harmon.
Miss Burkes is a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center and East Central Community College. She received a bachelor of science in elementary education and a master of education degree in instructional technology from Mississippi State University. Miss Burkes is employed at Armstrong Middle School in Starkville.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Lodena Gould of Leesburg and the late Chester Gould and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grady "Happy" Reeves of Clifton.
Mr. Parker is an honor graduate of Morton High School and a graduate of East Central Community College. He received a bachelor of business administration from Mississippi State University. He is employed at Bancorp South in Starkville.

Lacey, Anderson
Georgia Chambers of Beckatunna announces the engagement of her daughter, Leontyne Sharell Lacey, to Lee Michael Anderson, son of Ezra and Gertia Anderson of DeKalb.

Miss Lacey is the granddaughter of Rhoda Lacey and the late George Lacey and the late Frank and Louise Laffitte, all of Buckatunna.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Pentecostal Church of God Christian Academy and received an associate degree in broadcast communication from Meridian Community College. She received a bachelor of science degree in special education from the University of West Alabama and will receive her master's degree in school counseling this summer.
Miss Lacey is employed by Meridian Public School District.
Mr. Anderson is the grandson of the late Leroy and Sarah Weddington of Lorman; Otha Anderson of DeKalb and the late Harbour Anderson.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Kemper High School and received an associate degree in radiology technology from Meridian Community College.
While attending MCC, he was a member of Mississippi Society of Radiology Technology.
Mr. Anderson is employed with North Mississippi Health Services.
