60th anniversary
Lucile and Ernest Goodman
Ernest and Lucile Goodman celebrated their 60th anniversary April 22, 2001, at New Hope Baptist Church. The event was hosted by their children, Benton Goodman of Vernon, Ala., Granveil Goodman and Unrue Goodman, both of Meridian, Kay Shipe of Lovettsville, Va., and Caren Davis of Bassfield. The couple has nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. They were married April 12, 1941, in Waynesboro.
50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Mosley
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Mosley will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception Sunday, June 3, 2001, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Bucatunna Baptist Church in the Snell Community. The couple has two children, Shirley Jay and her husband, Gene, and Patricia Lucas and her husband, Charles; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The event will be hosted by their daughters. Mrs. Mosley is the former Ola Faye Neal. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
