MCC opens its doors to children

Meridian Community College will host College for Kids during two one-week sessions this month. Classes have been scheduled for children age 6-15. Orientation is set for Friday.
Parents and children will be able to meet instructors during orientation at Eagle Grove, behind the Webb Center, on the MCC campus from noon until 1 p.m.
There is no set deadline for registration. Parents can register their children for classes at the Webb Center. The cost is $45 per child for each class.
The first session of College for Kids will be held June 11-15. The second session will be June 18-22. All classes are from 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. until noon. Swimming only is from 8 a.m.-9 a.m. or from 3 p.m.-4 p.m.
A picnic for students in session I and their parents will be held at noon on June 15. Students in session II and their parents will have a picnic at noon on June 22.
