Services for Andrew McCune will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Rosehill Church in Union. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery with Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home officiating.
Mr. McCune, 76, of Chicago, died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, in Chicago.
GEORGIA PIERCE SPEARS
PHILADELPHIA Services for Georgia Pierce Spears will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Revs. Kevin Brouillette and John Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Spears, 79, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Neshoba County Nursing Home.
Survivors include her husband, Arden Odell Spears of Philadelphia; five daughters, Loretta Stokes of Milton, Fla., Suzy Duckworth of Elizabeth, W.V. and Gay Lynn McKinnion, Jayne Nolan and Nena Nolan all of Philadelphia; a son, Marty Spears of Louisville; two sisters, Wilma Wilder of Meridian and Claudie Stokes of Philadelphia and a brother, Garcie Pierce of Philadelphia; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
HENRY LEE MORGAN
Truck driver
Services for Henry Lee Morgan will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at Pine Springs Christian Fellowship Church with the Rev. Tommy Espey officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Morgan, 52, of Meridian, died Friday, June 15, 2001, in Collierville, Tenn. He was a truck driver.
He was a member of Pine Springs Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Morgan and children, Kathy Calvert, Lonnie Morgan and Anna Agent all of Meridian; two sisters, Sue Morgan of Florida and Sharon Morgan of Meridian; three brothers, John Morgan and Jack Morgan, both of Meridian and Tommy Morgan of Florida and four grandchildren, Alana Calvert, Kate Calvert, Brandon Morgan and Malerie Thornton, all of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Helen Morgan and his sister, Bettye Morgan.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Pickard, William Allen, Richard Moulds, Mike Garrett, Keith Garrett, Charlie Miller, Glen Webb and Jack Morgan.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from noon-4 p.m. at the church.
CHRIS KIMBROUGH
Custodian
Services for Chris Kimbrough will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Sunny Mt. Giles Baptist Church in Scooba with the Rev. Clifford Kimbrough officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kimbrough, 85, of Scooba, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at his home. He was a custodian for the Kemper County School System.
Survivors include his wife, Callie Mae Kimbrough of Scooba; six sisters, Ora Nave of East St. Louis, Ill., Flossie Carrole of Mobile, Ala., Johnnie Watson and Clara Collins and her husband, Curtis, all of Scooba, Cora Mitchell and Ruth Moore and her husband, Willie, all of Cleveland, Ohio and a brother, Clifford Kimbrough and his wife, Judy, of Youngstown, Ohio.
Visitation will be Monday from 1 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
VERNA MAE STOKES
Retired housekeeper
DeKALB Services for Verna Mae Stokes will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. Chester Davis, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Stokes, 88, of Collinsville, died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Riley Hospital in Meridian.
She was a retired housekeeper.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Lee Stokes of Collinsville; two daughters, Elois Ruff and her husband, Robert of Collinsville and Grace Avery and her husband, Ervin of Aurora, Ill; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a niece and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.
Visitation will be Monday from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday from noon-1 p.m. at the church.
