DEKALB Graveside services for Elmer Madison Wilson will be held today at 11 a.m. at Union Hill Cemetery with the Revs. Joe Landrum and Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wilson, 90, of DeKalb, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Mississippi Care Center of DeKalb.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Swearingen and Cheryl Hedgpeth and her husband, Billy Joe, all of DeKalb, and Kathy Creekmore of Philadelphia; a son, Robert Elmer "Toby" Wilson and his wife, Deborah, of Louisville; two sisters, Geneva Daniels of Bailey and Hazel Permenter of West Point; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Shepherd Wilson.
The family requests memorials be made to Union Hill Cemetery fund, Rt. 2 Box 45, DeKalb, MS 39328.
Pallbearers will be Mike Swearingen, Scott Swearingen, Joy Hedgpeth, Mark Robertson, Wayne Eldridge and Robert Van Kilpatrick.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Elnor White will be held today at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Kermit Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery.
Mrs. White, 81, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Neshoba County Nursing Home.
Survivors include a son, Joe R. Beckham and a brother, Claude Ward, both of Philadelphia; four sisters, Elma Hicks and Arlie Dee Tullos, both of Vicksburg, Bernice Wall of Meridian and Imogene Beckham of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Porter.
ROY L. DORMAN SR.
Teacher and administrator
Services for Roy L. Dorman Sr. will be held today at 3 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Davis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Dorman, 85, of Meridian, died Monday, June 18, 2001, in his home. He was a Sunday School teacher and Deacon at Westwood Baptist Church. Mr. Dorman was a World War II veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star and Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Dorman received master degrees from the University of Mississippi, University of California and the University of Arizona. He was also an Aerospace Engineer for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Verna Mae Dorman of Meridian; four daughters, Wanda Medina of Tustin, Calif., Sheila Merrill of Longmont, Colo., Belinda Gordon of Bakersfield, Calif. and Deborah Dorman Rodriguez of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Dr. Roy L. Dorman Jr. of Avon, Conn.; five grandchildren, Danielle and Ryan Medina, Nicholas Gordon, Luke Dorman and Alexander Rodriguez; and four sisters.
He was preceded in death by a son, R. Larry Dorman; a grandson, Christopher Gordon; a sister and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Coley, Bobby Cooper, Joe Jackson, Raymond McKinion, Dean Overby and Varnell Warren.
ELZIE EDNA TOWNSEND

Services for Elzie Edna Townsend will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jason Gross officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park.
Mrs. Townsend, 88, of Collinsville, died Thursday, June 21, 2001, at Queen City Nursing Home.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Mabra Townsend of Collinsville; two sons, Larry Townsend and his wife, Elizabeth, of Hattiesburg and Dr. Gerald Townsend and his wife, Annette, of Cochran, Ga.; one daughter, Sandra Scardino and her husband, Leonard of Columbia; a sister, Lola Mae Allen of Collinsville; and six grandchildren, Stephen and Phillip Townsend, both of Cochran, Ga., Chistopher and Brian Townsend, both of Hattiesburg, Lenny Scardino and his wife, Theresa, and Anthony Scardino all of Columbia.
Visitation will be 5 p.m.-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Services for Jack F. McAllister will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Chambers, Carl White, Tom Wood and Tom Moore officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. McAllister, 73, of Meridian, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was the founder of McAllister and Son Radio and TV and co-owner of McAllister Real Estate. He was a former member and Deacon of Briarwood Baptist Church and had recently rejoined Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia McAllister of Meridian; two sons, Mike McAllister of Philadelphia and David McAllister of Meridian; two daughters-in-law, Jerri McAllister of Philadelphia and Judi McAllister of Meridian; sister-in-law, Nancy Hopper of Cullman, Ala.; four grandchildren, Robert Michael McAllister, Sheila McAllister, Daniel McAllister and Steven McAllister; five great-grandchildren, Alisha McAllister, Jennifer McAllister, Taylor Hardy, D.J. McAllister and Trevor McAllister; a brother, James McAllister; a sister-in-law, Geraldine McAllister; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.V. and Blanche McAllister and a son, Steve McAllister.
Pallbearers will be Jim Taylor, John Wayne Hedgepeth, Ted Gamble, Phil Davis, Grady Gatlin, Murphy Culpepper, Bill Funk and Mickey Semmes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jack McKinnon, Junior Smith, Billy Moore, Everett Keller and Frank Faucette.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
