Oliver, Culpepper

LeAnn Joy Culpepper of Meridian and Michael Lee Oliver of Little Rock were married Saturday, May 19, 2001, at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Everett officiating.
Parents of the couple are Jimmy and Judy Culpepper and Bobbie Gail Oliver, all of Meridian, and Bobby L. Oliver of Little Rock.
Grandparents of the bride are Willie and Eloise Hagwood and James and Louise Culpepper, all of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Linda Hagwood, vocalist; and Michael Gibson, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white sleeveless satin gown featuring a scoop neckline with pearlized bead embroidery. From the dropped waistline fell an A-line satin skirt with pearl and beaded embroidery encircling the gown and continuing around the edge of the chapel-length train. Her waist-length veil fell from a pearlized bead headband.
She carried a mixed spring bouquet featuring white roses and lavender daises. She also wore her grandmother's garter, which had been worn by every bride in the family.
Maid of honor was Kara Etheridge of Meridian. Other attendants were Karen Hand and Laura Thrash, both of Meridian. Brittany Allen of Meridian was flower girl.
Reggie Oliver of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Wayne Oliver and Brian Oliver, both of Little Rock, Joey Etheridge of Meridian and Bill Wilson of Decatur. Ring bearer was Jacob Oliver of Little Rock.
Bubble attendants were Samantha Oliver, Sarah Oliver and Brittany Allen. Program attendants were Katie Culpepper.
A reception was held at the church's Family Life Center following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Gin Etheridge, Sue Followay, Frances Moffett, Cindy White, Stacy Allen and Bobbie Ann Walker.
After a honeymoon in the Ozark Mountains, the couple resides in Little Rock.
