Americans rely on constitutional rights like freedom of speech and religion to make their lives better and freer, and on July 4, the Memory Tree Foundation invites the community to celebrate those freedoms.
Foundation volunteers will host a parade Wednesday called the "Proud to be an American Walk."
The parade is part of the July 4 celebration at Bonita Lakes. Registration for the parade will begin at 6 p.m. and the parade will start at 7 p.m. The registration booth will be under a Memory Tree Foundation banner near the dam.
Pennebaker said that groups are more than welcome, including church groups, neighborhoods, and businesses.
