The weather is hot and bowling is cool, so get your family or group together for a great bowling outing.
Bowlers of all ages can bowl as we have bumpers to keep ball out of the gutters and automatic scoring so you get set back and enjoy yourself. Check with us at 483-2283 to set you for regular bowling or cosmic bowling. We know you'll have a good time.
Well, it didn't take long for someone to follow Thomas Clay's 300 as bowling in the Tuesday mix league, Mike Cothern bowled his third of the season. A 300 game and a 701 series. Good bowling guys.
We will let you know that Labor Day weekend there will be a double's tournament at Dixie Bowl. First place is guaranteed for $1,000. We have the entry forms at the lanes, so put this in your plans for that weekend.
The mystery tournament had 19 to enter this Sunday and next Sunday, the 22nd, you'll also be in as we check in by 1:30 and bowl at 2 p.m. Part of the prize money goes to the YABA and the rest is paid to the bowlers.
The fall and winter league schedules are now out, so pick one up and make plans for the coming season. The meeting starts August 13th through 17th with the leagues starting the next week. We need your help in filing our leagues, so invite a friend or some one that might want to bring a team in.
