LOUISVILLE – Services for Tommy "Slim" Harrison will be held today at 2 p.m. at Tilghman Funeral Home with the Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Mr. Harrison, 69, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Noxubee General Hospital.
Survivors include a sister, Kate Whitten of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
ARTHUR J. LEE
Retired from Kroeler Furniture Company
Services for Arthur J. Lee will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Carl Stephens and Bobby Barfoot officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Lee, 70, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, in Union.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary L. Jones and her husband, Ricky, and Karen Lee, his mother, Ethel McElroy Lee, a brother, James E. Lee and his wife, Fay, all of Collinsville; grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Megan Jones, Keegan Jones and Conner Breazeale.
Pallbearers will be Landis Culpepper, Max Culpepper, Lee Vincent, Jerry Davis, Keith Ethridge and Herbert Herrington.
Honorary pallbearers will be Adrin Hitt, Edwin Hitt, Lamar McElory and Eddie McElroy.
MARTHA L. PIGFORD
Retired nurse
WEST POINT Services for Martha L. Pigford will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation with the Rev. Gene Asbury officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian at 2 p.m. on Friday. Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pigford, 90, died Monday, July 16, 2001, at Dugan Nursing Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Sally Bennett of Arnold, Md. and Martha Anne Farmer of Alisbaster, Ala.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Pigford.
The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
EMMA JEAN BRAZZLE
SEBASTOPOL Services for Emma Jean Brazzle will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Olive officiating. Burial will be in Morrow Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brazzle, 86, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Rest Care Hospice.
Survivors include her husband, Thurman Brazzle of Philadelphia; five sons, Willie Miles Brazzle and J.B. Brazzle, both of Pascougla, J.E. Brazzle and Thurman Brazzle Jr., both of Philadelphia, and Havert Brazzle of Milwaukee; six daughters, Climateem Matheny and Margie Hite, both of Pascougla, Macie Leen Wells and Bessie Jean Bell, both of Moss Point, Bonnie Jean Brazzle of Miami and Onnie Grace Jupiter of New York; a sister, Lean Garriett of Jackson; a brother, Elbert Kimble of Gadson, Ala.; two sisters, Ethel Mae Lee of Mobile, Ala. and Ruth Pennington of Birmingham, Ala.; 29 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
EGETTA B. JOHNSON

Services for Egetta B. Johnson will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at West Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Odell Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Johnson, 70, of Meridian, died Monday, July 16, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include six daughters, Audrey Wilson and her husband, Stanley, of Marion, Ala., Sharon McQuiter and her husband, Lonnie, Sabrina Hopson and Salitha Turner and her husband, Tito, all of Meridian, Tuchella Wright and her husband, Curtis, of Lauderdale and Econdrea Johnson of Daleville; 10 sons, Bervis Johnson and his wife, Stephanie, of New Orleans, Brenneth Johnson and his wife, Carolyn, of Chicago, Gregory Johnson of Meridian, Randall Johnson of Louisiana, Stanley Johnson and his wife, Helen, Roderick Johnson, Stacy Johnson and his wife, Bobbie, and La Tonia Johnson and his wife, Angie, all of Meridian, Joey Johnson of Austin, Texas and Derrick Johnson of San Diego, Calif.; four brothers, Ollver Jones, La Baron Jones and Lester Jones, all of Pasco, Wash., and Gene Jones of Laredo, Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter.
Visitation will be Friday from 8:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
GERVIS KING

DEKALB Services for Gervis King will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Belmount Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Ray Baylor officiating. Burial will be in Jerusalem Cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. King, 60, of Bailey, formerly of DeKalb, died Saturday, July 14, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Yolanda K. Williams and her husband, Corey, of Bailey; two sons, Tarrance King and his wife, Sybil of Toomsuba and Wayne King and his wife, Stephanie, of DeKalb; his mother, Willie B. King of DeKalb; four brothers, Roger King and his wife, Ida, Eevi King and his wife, Jackie, Marshall King and his wife, Mattie, and Ervin King and his wife, Ann, all of Milwaukee; four sisters, Deloris King of Meridian, Earnestine Ellerby and her husband, Johnny, Dorothy King, Christine Moore and her husband, T.J., all of DeKalb; 10 grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, and a son.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
