Baskin, McWilliams team to win Sandusky Tournament

Binjy Baskin and Billy McWilliams teamed to win the Jimmy Sandusky Two-Person Scramble Sunday at Lakeview Country Club.
The duo shot 59 on Saturday and 60 on Sunday for a two-day total 119 to edge Johnny Boykin and Andy Mayatt by just two shots (61-60 – 121).
Walter Hurst and Jody Hurst fired a 127 (64-63) to take third place in the Championship Flight.
In the First Flight, Bob Rawson/B.R. Goodman (71-64), Dan Cagle/George Polizzi (70-65) and the duo of Doug Thompson/Art Matthews (71-64) each shot 135.
Shuan Skidmore and Bruce Skidmore won the Second Flight with a 139 (74-65) , while Marshall McKay and Robert Entrekin placed second with a 141 (76-65). Third place went to Chad Lewis and Nathan Bailey with a 142 (75-67).
Billy McWilliams won Closest to the Pin on Hole No. 4 and No. 12 Saturday, while Ricky Mauldin was closest on holes No. 7 and 13.
On Sunday, Jerald Earley was Closest to the Pin on No. 4, Walter Skidmore on No. 7, Walter Hurst on No. 12 and Curtis Bechman on No. 13.
