Elizabeth Reece Graves and David Hayes Sharp, both of Florence, were married Saturday, May 19, 2001. Afternoon vows were read by the Rev. Tim Murphy at Trinity Episcopal Church.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Reece Graves and Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Sharp, all of Florence.
Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. and Mrs. Maurice Arnold Pigford Jr. of Meridian and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reece Graves of Florence.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Archie Hayes Gallien and the late Mr. Gallien and Mrs. Edwin Robert Sharp and the late Mr. Sharp, all of Florence.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maurie Brown Graves attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Lillie Suzanne Graves, sister of the bride.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. James Robert Sharp Jr. was groomsman.
Ushers were Matthew Curtis Bruce and Galen Thomas Craven.
Completing the wedding party as flower girl was Julia Kathryn Koonce and as ring bearer, Robert Dale Sherrod III.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple resides in Florence.
