Graveside services for Rachel Leigh Keeton will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jason Bird officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Keeton, 16, of Meridian, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, in Lauderdale County. She was a student at Northeast High School.
Survivors include her parents, R.G. and Cathye Keeton of Meridian; paternal grandparents, Robert G. and Dorothy Keeton Sr., of Porterville; maternal grandparents, James Q. and Bobbie Ford of Meridian; three uncles, Jimmy Ford and his wife, Vicki and Gene Ford and his wife, Fay, all of Meridian and Jerry Keeton and his wife, Becky of Porterville; three aunts, Lena Keeton of Sparr, Fla., Gladys Cook and her husband, A.J. of Meridian and Lynn Burnett and her husband, Kerry, of Epes, Ala.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be A.J. Cook, Tommy Puckett, Fred Hutchinson, Ted Waddell, Greg Lovette, George R. Swearingen and Kerry Burnett.

Services for Solomon Robert "Solly" Smith Sr. will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Malcolm Lewis, Barry Skelton and Jim Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Smith, 68, of Meridian, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at his home. He was a retired newspaperman and former circulation manager at The Meridian Star and member of the Southern Circulation Manager Association. He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church. Solly was a real old-fashioned gentleman, he was a devoted husband, father, friend and brother. He will be greatly missed by all. He loved gardening and expressed his love by sharing a kind word and spreading sunshine with a gift of a plant or flower.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda G. Smith of Meridian; two daughters, Jocylynn S. Williams of Pass Christian and Kimberly Kay Smith of Meridian; two sons, Solomon Robert "Solly" Smith Jr. of Gulfport and Timothy Paul Smith of Fairbanks, Alaska; five grandchildren, Jaki Hathcock, Salli Smith, Leigh Smith, Alex Smith and Mellie Williams; a great-grandchild, Austin Hathcock; two sisters, Marie Davis and Jessie Ruth Reed and two brothers, Haskel Smith and Harry W. Smith.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
MATTIE BRAZEAL
Services for Mattie Brazeal will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brazeal, 83, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at Benchmark Health Care.
Survivors include a daughter, Lois Carr and her husband, Harold, of Meridian; a son, Keith McCoy of Fort Madison, Iowa; a sister, Lula Bell Carr of Detroit; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service at the church.
HENRY OSMOND SWANN
MOBILE, Ala. Graveside services for Henry Osmond Swann will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Meridian, Miss., with Radney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Swann, 94, of Mobile, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, in Mobile. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, an artist and a native of Meridian. He was retired from the Federal Housing Authority and the Mississippi State Tax Commission.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Price and her husband, Roy, of Mobile, Dr. Dorothy Branch of Ft. Worth, Texas and Elizabeth Schmidt of Dallas; two sons, Henry Swann Jr. and his wife, Carole, of Brookhaven, Miss., and John F. Schmidt III of Clarksdale, Miss.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Annie P. Cole will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Greater Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Perrien Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cole, 48, of Meridian, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at her home. She was activity director of Broadmoor Health Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Tessa Davis of Meridian; two sons, Billy Davis and Terrence Davis, both of Meridian; two sisters, Phyllis Broadnox and Myrtle Moore, both of Meridian; four brothers, John Moore and James Moore, both of Meridian and Harry Sanford and Tony Davis, both of Toxy, Ala.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
SARAH LVELLA DAVIS

SHELBY, N.C. Services for Sarah Lvella Davis will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lawndale, with the Rev. B.G. Houze officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Enloe Mortuary and E.E. McDonald Funeral Home of Philadelphia, Miss., in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Davis, 81, of Philadelphia, formerly of Shelby, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a housekeeper.
Survivors include three daughters, Bettye Morrison Simmons and her husband, Abraham, of Philadelphia, Callie Degree of Shelby, N.C. and Averee Roseboro of Charlotte, N.C.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and four siblings.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Booker T. Harbin, 77, of Meridian, who died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
