DELPHINE DAVIDSON GREEN
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Delphine Davidson Green will be held today at 11 a.m. at Heritage Church of God with the Revs. B.A. Brown and Clovis Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Barrytown Cemetery with Phillips Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Green, 85, of Mayo, Fla., died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, in Lake City, Fla. She was a native of Gilbertown.
Survivors include a son, Otto Davidson of Dothan; two daughters, Bonnie Davidson Odom of Mayo and Reba Davidson Blackshear of Heath, Texas; a sister, Addie May of Gilbertown; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lamar Davidson.
PATRICIA NORED ALVAREZ

Services for Patricia Nored Alvarez will be held today at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerry Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Aimwell Cemetery in Marengo County, Ala. at 2 p.m. today. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Alvarez, 62, of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Heartfelt Hospice.
Survivors include a son, Ted Alvarez of Meridian; a brother, Lamar Nored of Linden, Ala.; a sister, Jacqueline Shumate of Meridian; and her mother, Muriel Moore Nored of Demopolis, Ala.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Grover Cleveland Hodge will be held today at 11 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Starks officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hodge, 90, of Coffeeville, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Jackson Medical Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Bumpers of Coffeeville, Gracie York of Salitpa and Ida Campbell of Grove Hill; two sons, Robert Lee Hodge of Silas and Grover Hodge of Jackson; a brother, Vester Hodge and a sister, Onnie Anderson, both of Coffeeville; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

NEWTON Services for Winfred Dueward Daniels will be held today at 2 p.m. at Blue Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Lin Chesney and David Manaso officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Daniels, 70, of Little Rock, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, in his home. He was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church and a plumber for Barber &Sons for 15 years.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Frances Daniels, three daughters, Lanell Parker, Dianne Scott and her husband, Bobby, and Bernice Well and her husband, Charles, all of Little Rock; two sons, Bobby Daniels and his wife, Margaret, of Meridian and Danny Daniels and his wife, Angela, of Little Rock; five sisters, Iva Scheuneman of Umatilla, Fla., Mavis Butts, Margaret Mayes and Ilean Dukes, all of Chunky, and Christian McNeil of Hickory; two brothers, William H. Daniels and Thomas Ardall Daniels, both of Chunky; 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Winfred Hubert Daniels; and his parents, William Rasberry and Delsie Alexander Daniels.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Daniels, Charles Alexander, Eldrew Butts, Ronnie Wilson, Chester Wells and Pat Wells.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Services for Annie P. Cole will be held today at 2 p.m. at Greater Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Perrien Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cole, 48, of Meridian, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Ray Cole, a daughter, Tessa Davis, two sons, Billy Davis and Terrence Davis and two sisters, Phyllis Broadnox and Myrtle Moore, all of Meridian; four brothers, John Moore and James Moore, both of Meridian, and Harry Sanford and Tony Davis, both of Toxy, Ala.
ROBERT POSEY

Graveside services for Robert Posey will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Lanny Avery officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Posey, 79, of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. He was a member of Carmel Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Sudie Posey of Meridian; two sons, James R. Gilmer and his wife, Kathleen, of Meridian and David E. Gilmer and his wife, Mary, of DeKalb; a brother, R.G. Posey and his wife, Nina, of Meridian; four grandchildren, Dean, Roby, Vanessa and Frances; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor and Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida Mae and Dewitt Butler; and a sister, Doris Boyette.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
LUCILLE R. LINTON
Services for Lucille R. Linton will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Everett Bonner, Terry Upchurch and Paul Raley officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Linton, 81, of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. A. Horace Linton, three daughters, Shirley Byrne and her husband, Jack, Betty Bradley and her husband, Eddie, and Catherine Bowden, all of Meridian; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Al Linton.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
ALICIA HOOVER

Memorial services for Alicia Hoover will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Scarbrough officiating. Burial will be in New York.
Miss Hoover, 16, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, in Lauderdale County. She was a member of Northeast Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Pam Tarver and her husband, Paul, of Meridian; her father, Mark Hoover and his wife, Roberta, of Horseheads, N.Y.; a brother, Daniel Hoover of Horseheads; two stepsisters, Shannon and Tanya Rafferty; a stepbrother, Billy Facey; her grandparents, Lee and Vivian Robbins of Horseheads, Daniel and Alice Tarver of Jackson, Norm Hoover of Horseheads, Randy and Jo Ann Dayton of New York and Geraldine and Robert Clark of Horseheads; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family requests memorials be made to Hope for Children or the Wesley House.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
ALBERT H. PEEL
Services for Albert H. Peel will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home with the Revs. Dr. Hugh Poole and Earnie Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Sumter County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Peel, 80, of Birmingham, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at Birmingham East Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
