Elease Griffin of Jackson and Kevin Christopher Gough of Meridian were married Monday, June 18, 2001, in Roatan, Honduras.
Parents of the couple are Charles and Ann Griffin of Jackson and Mickey and Jackie Gough of Dalewood.
Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira Bradshaw.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mary Carver of Meridian and the late Jack Carver, Sally Gough of Meridian and the late Harold Gough.
The bride is an honors graduate of the Mississippi School for Math and Science. She received a master's degree in tax accounting from the University of Mississippi. Mrs. Gough is employed as a supervisor and certified public accountant with Pfizer Inc. in Memphis, Tenn.
The bridegroom is an honors graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Mississippi. He earned bachelor's degrees in anthropology and geology from the University of Memphis. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in forensic anthropology. Mr. Gough is employed as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Memphis.
A garden reception was held on July 28, at the home of the bridegroom's parents.
