Hart-Entrekin on top at Northwood

Alan Hart and Paul Entrekin shot a sizzling 12-under par 59 to lead by a stroke in Saturday's first round of the Labor Day Scramble at Northwood Country Club.
Play resumes today and will run through Monday.
Hart and Entrekin hold a one-stroke lead over the teams of John Kelly-David Larkin and David Russell-Dan Singley, who each shot 60s in Saturday's rain-soaked round.
At 61 is the team of Alex Weddington-Ed Brown.
Turning in first day 62s are the teams of David Ray-Larry Love and Kelly Swain-Earl Aycock.
Shooting first-round 63s are the teams of Buddy Davis-Keith Davis and Randy Pool-Robert Bailey.
At 64 are the teams of Grey Cobb-Johnny Love and Ray Long-Tal Braddock.
The shot of the day belonged to Ken Densmore, who had a hole-in-one on the par-3, 123-yard 17th hole. Densmore used a sand wedge to record the ace. Witnesses were Mike Densmore, Ron Black, and T.C. Glover. The Densmores finished their round with a one-over par 72.
