Students receive awards from College Public Relations Association of Mississippi

Area schools recently received awards from the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi. The following awards were won in the senior division competition:
Mississippi State University-Meridian: First place, radio spots, "Course of your Life," Linda Butler; second place, tabloid publication, "A Salute to Mississippi State University-Meridian Campus," Linda Butler; second place, special publications, "I'm a Bulldog Fan," Linda Butler; third place, advertisements, "Summer/Fall Registration," Linda Butler.
The following awards were won in junior division competition:
East Central Community College: First place, newsletter, "EC Express," Maria McLeod, Bubby Johnston; second place, Web page, "ECCC Web Page"; third place, sports story, "ECCC Athletic Hall of Fame," Bubby Johnston; third place, institutional magazine, "The Warrior," Bubby Johnston, Maria McLeod.
East Mississippi Community College: First place, television spots, "Vocational/Technical," Kelly Atwood, Robbie Coblentz; second place, special publications-athletic programs, "EMCC Athletic Program," Kelly Atwood; third place, viewbook, "The Time of your Life," Kelly Atwood; third place, black and white photograph, "Feeling," Kelly Atwood.
