Heidelberg Academy pounds Newton Academy

Heidelberg Academy pummelled Newton Academy, 50-0, Friday night in prep football action.
Heidelberg got on the board first with a 52-yard punt return by Jeremy Eason. The following PAT by Mason Key was good leaving the score at 7-0.
Heath Ainsworth was next in line to score off a 15 yard rush followed by another succesful Key PAT.
Eason scored next off a 23-yard rush followed by a good PAT.
Blake Bass got his name called with a 24-yard touchdown rush followed by another good PAT in the second quarter.
Ainsworth scored again with an 18-yard rush. Heidelberg tried something different as they completed a two-point conversion pass from Brooks Lewis to Ainsworth.
Ainsworth scored again in the third quarter off a one-yard rush followed by a Key PAT.
The final Heidelberg score came in the fourth quarter off a three yard rush from Lewis followed by a successful Key PAT.
South Choctaw Academy 13
Jackson Academy 9
South Choctaw Academy scored first off a one-yard rush from Steven Presley in the first quarter. The following Josh Cornett PAT was good.
Jackson came up with a touchdown off a one yard rush from Walt Wade followed by a missed PAT in the second quarter. This was the first points allowed by the SCA defense this season.
Jackson scored again in the fourth from a Randy Gaillard 29 yard field goal.
South Choctaw answered right back with a 23-yard touchdown pass from Brad Johnson to Jeffry Mason with 32 seconds to go in the game. The PAT was missed leaving the final score at 13-9.
Louisville 32
Neshoba Central 0
Louisville smashed Neshoba 32-0 Friday night. They scored 18 points in the second quarter alone. Louisville also scored seven in the third and fourth.
Kentae Island carried the offensive load scoring three touchdowns.
Winston Academy 27
Marshall 20
Winston Academy moved up their overall record to 4-1 Friday night as they pushed past Marshall 27-20.
Quarterback Jay McMillin lead the charge for Winston Academy.
